It was my first offense and I am flying out to London this week. The offense will be cleared from my record on March 3, 2007 after I submit paperwork from this alcohol possession course. I submitted my passport to the SF office and it will be ready on Wednesday. Everyone I talked to (online and passport customer service) said it should not be a problem, but I am scared it will be. Is anyone 100% sure I will get approved if this is the ONLY thing on my record?

Do not count the president, even though he is the commander in chief of all the services, he is a civilian, and therefore, not a mlitary member.

Momentum is building in Congress to support for universal health care for all citizens who need it. Private health care would remain, but millions of people would now have access.

A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to include dental care, eye care, hearing aids, physical checkups, and foot care among the items and services for which payment may be made under the supplementary medical insurance program, and to provide safeguards against consumer abuse in the provision of these items and services.

Out of the 145,000, how many are marine, air-force, etc.? Some interesting casuality stats for this year:

57% are army
78% don't belong to combat unit
85% by hostile attack
88% are younger than age 35

Seems young army kids are sacrificing the most!

i was taser by the police in the back of my neck after he said that i was free to go. then wrestle me to the ground and charge me with public intoxication. i didn,t put any resistance towards the officer. i had two beers and was headed home for the nite when he stop me and ran a check on me nothing came back, that when he told me to leave and the next thing i was hit with the taser gun . i had to go to the hospital to get the probe remove from my neck. my neck is still sore after 5 days. i believe that was excessive force and it was no call for that kind of action from the officer espically in back. i didn,t give reason for his action.

I am an H-1b holder and My wife was denied her H-4 visa request, on the grounds that they believe marriage was contracted to let my wife migrate to the states from Ghana. first, we incorrectly applied for visitor's visa and then she was denied saying since her husband was there very likely she would overstay. We re-applied and this time requested for h-4 visa, what she is entitled to and she has been denied as well, on the reasoning that they believe marriage is fictitious( they are wrong!) Both my wife and I are ghanaian and I purposefully travelled to Ghana to marry her about 6 months back. Stayed for only a month, - duration of my leave period and since then she's been applying and waiting to go for interview, with all documents necessay, so she could join me. Now she's been denied visa a second time. Where do I go to seek redress? Is there anything I can do to reverse this decision? I will appreciate your insights on this, thank you. JB

I READ A PTSD REPORT AT THE VA. IT CLAIMED THE COMBAT VERERANS ARE TWICE AS LIKELY TO PERSUE A LIFE OF CHARITY OR SOME FORM OF SOCIAL SERVICE.

This was not about the people driving a truck or in a support job But the guys with bloody hands that actually killed other men in combat.
