I READ A PTSD REPORT AT THE VA. IT CLAIMED THE COMBAT VERERANS ARE TWICE AS LIKELY TO PERSUE A LIFE OF CHARITY OR SOME FORM OF SOCIAL SERVICE.

This was not about the people driving a truck or in a support job But the guys with bloody hands that actually killed other men in combat.

I believe that after someone is exposed to relentless horror, death and destruction for months or years, they would have a desire to seek the good in life.

The best way to cleanse bloody hands is by helping others to stay clean.

Reds are communists or socialists, it can apply to both, the next socialist who isnt a dove, will be the first. Just because you pursue a life of charity or social service, doesnt mean you dont believe in war as something that is tragically necessary, why dont you realise that war is sometimes necessary? It is a sad fact of life that will never change, it only takes one to fight a war.

I am a wounded Vietnam vet. My brother is a wounded Vietnam vet. We both support this war.We both give & work for charitys & we both both believe in social service ( I serve at a soup kitchen at our local Salvation Army.).I know people who servered in Vietnam who never saw combat but they were there if we needed them They are my brothers& sisters in arms & i resent the fact some one would make me better then them// They had their job to do & I had mine. Togeather we tried to win a war but the Jerks in Washington who did not know a rifle from a broom would not let us.So please do not belittle ANYONE who goes to war just because they were lucky enough not to see combat. I say " you were lucky & GOD bless you."

Red likes war because war is money. Combat veterans perhaps feel abandoned by their country after there service due to substandard medical care.
Oh and I do know what I am talking about my Uncle served in Saudi in the first Gulf War, My maternal grandfather was in the Korean War, My stepgrandfather was in the Korean war, both army, my cousin in the navy currently, my brother in law is in Baghdad right now as an air traffic controller, my b/fs great uncle was in WW2 and he loves talking about it.
Oh and my bfs uncle is a Vietnam vet who is severely messed up in the head after that. None of them think war is good or just.

Combat Veterans are more likely to suggest non-combat alternatives because they've experienced to reality of warfare.

Reenlstments are highest for those who have served in Iraq. The career choices do not show that veterans are against our military.
You just put the non in non sequiter.
