I am an H-1b holder and My wife was denied her H-4 visa request, on the grounds that they believe marriage was contracted to let my wife migrate to the states from Ghana. first, we incorrectly applied for visitor's visa and then she was denied saying since her husband was there very likely she would overstay. We re-applied and this time requested for h-4 visa, what she is entitled to and she has been denied as well, on the reasoning that they believe marriage is fictitious( they are wrong!) Both my wife and I are ghanaian and I purposefully travelled to Ghana to marry her about 6 months back. Stayed for only a month, - duration of my leave period and since then she's been applying and waiting to go for interview, with all documents necessay, so she could join me. Now she's been denied visa a second time. Where do I go to seek redress? Is there anything I can do to reverse this decision? I will appreciate your insights on this, thank you. JB

You would need to file for an appeal with the USCIS. I would go to their website online to look up more information. I would also get an immigration lawyer.
