I'd say I want to see the data. Because it's not jiving with what official census data says.

I've linked to the census data below about how various income groups have fared since Bush. From 2001 through 2003 all income groups lost ground. Starting in 2004, the poor started gaining ground, and in 2005 all groups gained ground.

In 2000, the top 5% of income earners were earning 164,617. In 2005, they were earning 166,000. This is all in inflation adjusted dollars. Does that sound like 57% more?

I admit none of this sorted out by Republicans and Democrats. Still, that would require some good evidence to back it up.

Bush has four giant buttons in his office- one says blues up only a little, the second says reds up an enormous amount. The third says Cause Major Hurricane to Hit an impoverish minority area of US and Kill a lot of people. The Fourth says raise gas prices.
