People have the idea from youth that to brainwash someone, you put a domed metal thing on their heads and wires plugged in and a switch thrown and fizz. As in cartoons. But do you know that the real life brainwashing comes from the mass media and there are no wires involved and about 90% of the masses are prone to this type of subtle mind control. So what you think is mainstream thinking is really the hand of Government?

This woman mentioned the store he was at and everything, had his license plate and told them he looked like a latin american. He isn't. I am just a wreck about this.

I didn't stand by Clinton and I'm sure as hell not going to Stand by Bush.
Why?
Because i don't trust politicians period.
As far as I'm concerned the Democrats and the Republicans are both bloated and corrupt parties.

After all there are far fewer ruling class, then the vast majority just getting by! Don't buy into these narrow minded people who say oh you can't come after my money. They can keep thier money its just going to have a fair way of getting distributed under majority rule & control, instead of unfair wealthy minority control.

does this typical democrat have any solution to anything instead of just complaining about the religious right? if i ask him, he'll probably just say "get rid of the individualists" right?
what is your solution to america? communism? anti-individualism? if i have 2 cows, and my neighbor has 0, then should the govt make me give him one to be equal, even though i worked for the 2 cows and he didnt?

I have as much sympathy as anyone for the poor, but that does not mean that the government has the right to appropriate my tax money to pay for the needs of the poor. The more money we hand over to the government, the more power they gain and the easier it becomes for tyranny to reign. Progressive taxation is immoral and threatens our freedoms.

"We have the right as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right to appropriate a dollar of the public money." Rep. David Crockett; Approx.1838
