Is there anything I can do when a company reports a charge in a background check, that has been expunged by court order

if its been expunged then it shouldn't even be on a background check, thats the whole point of getting your record expunged, the other thing is if your charges were longer than 7 years ago, you don't have to put it on your application or anything

Nope. Even if you can go and have it expunged, the company already knows that it is there.

I would talk to a lawyer. If something has been expunged from your record it will always be on your record but is not suppose to be used against you.

You will need to speak with the authorities to make sure this doesn't happen again.
