once the BMW was delivering part to our shop. off course he double parked like other trucks do, which is common and reasonable. but the ticket cop gave it a ticket anyway. he said it is because the double parking. but you can't tell the driver to go around till he find a parking space 3 block away and carry the part one by one to the shop, right?

to Christop..H
maybe the law is made to be fair. but only when it is in use. If you are speaking of law. I once saw a taxi infront of me ran a red light (right then the ppl are started crossing) and the police car just behind me didn't do anything even though the pedestrain was looking at he police and pointing to the taxi. the police guys just didn't care what just happened. so, what did the fair law do? it just sitting in the court till somebody get hit then it stands out? or it is ok because the taxi guy's within the speed limit?
I respect policemen coz they put their lives out there. but some individuals are just disappointing

If someone has a badge and a gun that makes them exempt from being labeled as criminals and they can do whatever they want.I once got a ticket on new years day for stopping at a stop sign.i saw the cop waited and went and he still pulled me over.had to pay fine of 90 just cause officer sittler was a no good piece of garbage and felt like pulling me over cause i was the only car on the road and for some reason he hates my family..It would have been my word against his in court so i didnt contest it and he can have the 90$ he robbed me of.hope he is proud.Police are corrupt.there is no doubt about it.And tickets are only the beginning.

Is there a such thing as a unfair ticket? My husband is a truck driver. It is a well known fact that cops in Ohio dont like truckers. We have been to truck stops before and have heard drivers say they gotta slip through Ohio. They say Ohio hates them. Then they go on to say how the cops are unfair and they was only doing 10mph over the speed limit and got caught last time they was in Ohio.Im sure the same happens with 4 wheelers.Always wanting to cry unfair when they break the law.

You are one of the few. My officers are always writing fair tickets. That is not to say someone does not have an excuse, but that is what they normally are...an excuse. What happens more times than not, is that people drive fast or don't stop at stop signs, etc. They finally get stopped by a police officer and wonder, "What's up? I've been doing this for years and have never been stopped." Think of all of the times you were doing something wrong and you were not stopped.

Regarding my officers, it is not uncommon for them to stop someone doing 52 in a 35 and only charge them doing 44 in a 35. This saves the driver over a hundred dollars. They are just doing their job. If they don't, the community gets upset that everyone speeds and runs traffic lights. You probably have the option of going to court to contest the ticket or attending driver improvement school. This would keep points from being accessed on your DL. Support the officer. If the law is unfair, work to get it changed.

Replt to Tony. That is what keeps me from being a COP. I would be unable to sleep at night and just feel like a dirty cheap person. I could not jusify harassing a person with "laws" that for the most part are only to create REVENUE for the government.

Parking tickets are a vital revenue source for most Cities. For example delevry trucks like fedex and UPS have a contract DEAL with alot of cities and they get a parking ticket discount fee. So that they pay less becuase they waive the right to even see a judge. Yet normal people must pay MORE. BLACKMAIL.

A lot of things happen with policemen and giving tickets. I live in a very small town with only one stop light. We have two police cars and one of them went without a tag light for three months, now, you would think.... No that hurts to much!

In turn, I was pulled over for the same thing and I pointed out that the police car he was driving didn't have one either. And of coarse that didn't go over to well. His reply, I'm the law and you aren't. Here is your ticket and have a nice evening.

I dont believe there is an "unfair ticket." Especially in your scenerio, where the driver was guilty of the infraction. Most people feel it is unfair because a lot of people slip through without getting penalized. But when you take the emotion out of it all you are left with is the facts. The fact that you did break the law, therefoe the ensuing consequence is justified.

This is a reason I feel more people really should learn about the laws and regulations that encircle their daily lifes. You would be amazed on how many people do not know their rights that is entitled to them as citizens.

in case you think the fee ticket replaced into the two issued in errors or by using fact the end results of a few thing else then you combat the fee ticket in court docket. you additionally can document a grievance with the PD's IA dept in case you sense you have been dealt with unprofessionally/ unsure why you incorporate that the officer had his hand on his gun, or that he asked you on your license, registration and insurance...that occurs on each and every site visitors end. As for being "violated" many times it somewhat is a few thing that occurs to individuals in penitentiary.... As for no longer coming to an entire end. I even have lots of individuals tell me a similar element, that they got here to an entire end. That this, till they see my sprint cam....

You have to remember that the cop is not a God...just a guy doing his job as best he can. Everyone makes mistakes on their job every day...most don't have the high profile that cops have.

Not every cop is a hero. Not every one is a louse. But every one is a human being who wants to get through with their day, go home, turn on the tube and drink a cold one.

Cops don't get to choose with whom they do business...and their job injects them into situations DAILY that most of us would avoid like a plague. Show them some respect, treat them at least as well as you would a stranger on the street, and you'll find most-not all- are just like you and me.

and yeah, i've gotten tickets...deserved every last one of 'em.

If you're lucky, you can preform a rap song and get out of the ticket.
