While he is probably the best presidential candidate in modern times and would have made a great president he probably won't run. There are still too many people who believe the lies told about him. Look at the guy above who is still bringing up the Internet hoax. http://www.snopes.com/quotes/internet.asp
He has made convincing points backed up by virtually all the respected scientists in the field on global warming, yet uneducated morons are still taking potshots at him. He truly not only won the popular vote, but the electoral vote would have been his too if there had been a valid recount. Sadly the Democrats will have to find another good candidate in 2008.

Probably not. There just isn't enough of that 'buzz' surrounding him right now. That said, none of the likely Democratic candidates are too exciting. Kerry blew it, Edwards is too inexperienced and is hated in his home state, Obama is too inexperienced, Bayh is an idiot, etc. At this stage, it would seem that Clinton is the front runner. Maybe a Clinton/Obama ticket??

Yes, yes, yes!!! If Al Gore is smart, he'll go for the nomination - get it - and then can finally serve in the office he was elected to in 2000 only to have it stolen from him. And, with all the choices out there right now, most seem to have some sort of polarizing effect - no one likes Hillary etc. - he would seem to be the ideal candidate, unless he goofed up again and chose someone like Lieberman as his running mate (Obama, Al, Obama).

he could but he won't. i remember speculation that gore was running in '04, but he didn't. i think gore is sick of american politics for right (he stills has a bad taste in his mouth from 2000), now and concentrating his efforts on stopping global warming.

no. The Democrats need some fresh blood. Throwing in the same old fogies isn't going to win an election.

WELL HE DIDN'T DO TO WELL AS A METEOROLOGIST.
WHO DID HE THINK HE WAS PREDICTING SO MANY HURRICANES. MAYBE HE WILL DO BETTER AS A POLITICIAN. NOT !!!!!!!!

THE ONLY THING AL GORE HAS TO DO WITH THE INTERNET IS PERPETUATING THE LIE THAT HE INVENTED IT. THAT WAS A LOAD OF CRAP. AND SO IS HE.
