I know that a lot of police officers are in it to keep us protected and safe but doesn't it seem like more and more of them are just on power trips? Does anyone have any stories of police coruption or cops taking things too far?

When they are never going to win it. Especially the war against meth. They are spending so much money trying to catch all these people that are still going to do drugs anyway, and they could put at least some of the money towards healthcare or education. What do you think?

Can you get in trouble for signing a petition? It would list your phone number too, and there aren't a lot of people signing it.

Why are women banned from combat .....That is half our Countrys power ....No wonder we can not win a war ....If you shut out half your power and skills (that being women) than you are only half as powrful....Is it fair to do that?

Its for a class, so I wont be using up a good idea. it has to be about the weakness of the Articles of Confederation (the documents that the US had before it was a nation), ownership of vermont, US Goverments money problems, or admission of new states on equal footing. if you have one of these ideas that would be great, but I will take anything.

If china got fed up with wal-mart and the u.s. could they successfully launch a full scale invasion of the west coast and set up shop in the us? F-22 Amraams can only kill 6 migs per flight, so with shear numbers and dense deployment patterns, could they do it?Would punks and geeks of CA be enough to resist them or have the free people gone soft?

After they got control of Congress, the GOP couldn't wait to run up government spending to payoff their political constituants, along with cutting taxes so those same cronies had to pay less taxes on those payoffs. The GOP officials seems to be busy trying to have cybersex with underage girls and boys. The non-guilty are running around covering up for the guilty. Lastly, the GOP are constantly planning anti-gay policies but when no one's looking they're jumping in bed with the next male prositute. They're even stupid enought to get caught on all this stuff months before a national election. I really think the GOP has lost themselves...I want to know what you think.

A multiparty system as opposed to a two-party. I'm brainstorming some ideas for an essay, and I'm curious as to what you all think. Pros? Cons?

Thanks in advance!

I mean, great, we defeated the rag-tag Iraqi army a while back. But it seems that a real workable plan for the occupation was never made, or followed.

Who's fault is it?

Essentially, a few lines of text on some documents in some dusty drawer somewhere say it's okay and it's therefore morally okay? Hardly.
