Yes you can, it is alot of paperwork though. You can do a "spousal sponsorship application" from within canada. Takes about 7-9months to get your 1st stage approval. You can stay in Canada as long as you have a valid visitor record. Alot of paper work and time involved..... reason why I know this is because I am going through it right now. If you are in it for the long haul.... then go for it

i reckon so..at least you can apply for it..why not go to the immigration online for canada and find out your rights..try something like "canadian immigration and naturalization.com you shloud come up with a good website...good luck...by the way..its very cold there in winter ....brrrrrrrrrrr
