I am against amnesty, and the majority of Americans are against amnesty, but what would we do, if Congress did give it to them? I don't think they will, some people on here seem to think so though, so I was just curious what we would do, if they voted to give it to them... I'm sure it will be on the table at some point again.

I would like o challenge AS-salam to an online debate where we need to use facts and support facts with sources. In this debate each of us can ask the other a question about policy and not insults and the other has an allotted amount of time to respond to the question. The other person can then respond once again using fact and citing the sources used to arrive at our answer. Are you game or a person who is nothing more than a blow hard content with asking questions and responding to questions with nothing more than trite prattle?

First reduce the layers of government to (3), Federal, State & County. Dump Twp & City level saving 120 billion yearly (84% is salaries BTW).
FIRE the IRS and have a National sales tax of 18%, a savings of 320 billion yearly. Cut personal property tax by 60%, FIRE 320,000 government workers who are useless. Pass a law that if you are in this country illeagally you have 72 hours to leave or you will be dropped over Sothern Mexico by airplane. Give our soldiers a 20% raise effective last year. Pass a law that if a member of congress talk's too, comunicates with, makes eye contact with a wealthy pork-barrell carrying lobbist..you will be asked to leave congress today and be charged with treason. Tell the Arab world we pay $7 a barrell...take it or leave it.

That's some of my ideas....where am I wrong?

Have you ever disagreed with someone? Have you ever met someone that you could not compromise with? Have you ever met someone that had power and did not want to compromise it for the sake of the general good?

Pro illegal explain to me how amnesty would help our country? By your logic America depends on their cheap labor. If they became Americans I guess they would demand equal pay right? Then wouldn't we need a whole new batch of illegals to work for the low paying wages?

I am awaiting a job offer from DHS. Most likely,I will be reporting to Artesisa,NM for recruit training. I am prior service so I'm very much familiar with resident training, however I am told there are some differences in the living arrangements. I googled the area and there seems to be nothing there? I welcome any personal experiences, advice, etc. Thank you.

Rice's Iran Strategy Fizzles, Cheney Waits in Wings

by Gareth Porter
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's months-long diplomatic effort to get five other powers to agree to a tough United Nations Security Council resolution on sanctions against Iran now seems certain to fail, because of Russian and Chinese resistance.
Last month, the Europeans circulated a draft that would have required that countries prevent the sale and supply of a long list of equipment, technology, and financing to all of Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs, including dual-use items and related technologies. It would have required that states "prevent the supply, sale, or transfer" of such technologies, ban travel by Iranian officials connected with either program, and freeze their assets.

5000 motorcycle riders come into Houston for a three-day motorcycle rally and convention. Over 300 stay at a local hotel that rents videos. There are activities planned for each night at the hotel. One of the nights the motorcycle movie, Easy Rider, is being shown at the hotel. The person who owns the video forgot to bring a copy, but the hotel desks has a copy of it. Over 300 people show up to see the movie.

In California, a single viewer does not constitute a public performance. However, with 300 viewers, does the analysis change? Does the analysis change, if the movie is shown in a convention hall rather than a more private room?
What would happen if it was a personally owned video that was shown to the convention?
Is there a certain cut off for the number of people that creates a public performance? Is it 20, 50, 00 people?

Jack Reardon recently bought a vintage ‘67 Mustang convertible, and did not have insurance. Upon arriving at the Holiday Hilton, Bob, a bellboy who was temporarily relieving the valet, Bob gave Mr. Reardon a claim check and took off. Printed on the back of the claim check were the following terms and conditions: “Neither the Safeway Parking Garage no the Holiday Hilton is responsible for any loss incurred because of theft.” Mr. Reardon did not look at the claim check. When he went to get his car. The valet told Mr. Reardon that the car was not in the garage. Mr. Reardon informed the valet that he had $60,000 in the trunk.

Whether the Holiday Hilton is responsible for the lost car and belongings?
Whether there is any relationship that Mr Jack Reardon might be able to recover the damages for his lost “STANG” and belongings?
