why is the age of sexual consent so high in america.
it is 16 in britain and 15 in france. And why is the drinking age so high 21 ?????/
then again last time i visited america i noticed that adults (aged over 16) are treated like babies

Your right 40 year olds should have the right to sleep with 15 year olds then take them out and get them drunk after.....

Do you really think a kid 15-17 is able to be responsible enough to go out and drink and get into relationships with adults.
Imagine a law that makes it possible for a 50 year old to sleep with your 15 year old daughter or for your 17 year old son to go out to a bar and get hammered then drive home in your car.

Do you really think that a 13 year-old needs to be having sex?
Also, a 16 year-old is barely responsible enough to drive or get themselves to school and you want to let them get drunk?
See here in America some people feel it's the governments job to raise their children. Now by letting the government raise your children they often lack the general knowledge I like to refer to as "responsibility."

The age of consent and the drinking age are left up to the individual 50 states, each has it's own. There are no federal age limits, (except 18 to vote) the people of each state decide how they want to live in their own communities.

1) u shouldn't drink at all because its really stupid and my aunt died at age 32 from drinking!
2) u shouldn't have sexual anything without being married because its a sin and it says so in the bible along with u shouldn't drink!
