Are you supposed to be a Christian? If you have your own Bible, read Romans 13... It is there we are told our rulers "Bear the sword... To punish those who do wrong."

War started by individuals IS wrong! But the government is God's agent of justice on this earth at the moment. It has a responsibility, under God, to see that liberty and justice are granted to ALL.

I wish people wouldn't use this forum as a soapbox for little sermons.

And to answer your question, America is still predominately Christian, but it's also a melting pot of every religion and ethnicity you can think of. Also, I think you've got your theology a little mixed up.

What has George ever done to make you think that he tells the truth even 1% of the time that he says something?

I'm with the captain on this one. Read chapter 38, in particular.

But I've also got more: What did Jesus have to say about judging?

Colleen,

I wish to now thank Jesus, God, and all His/Her saints that YOU were not around when we were faced with stopping Hitler.

Amen.
