Before you answer, ask yourself if you're qualified to answer. I'm 27 and have moved from N.America to come of age in China...I have lived here for four years, been to big cities, villages, speak Chinese and have a graduate degree in Chinese History. While the cult of Mao has died down a bit, most Chinese ardently support their government and the incredible achievements they've made since Deng Xiaoping reform. They know they're history, perhaps more than any other country I've been too...but they're still learning about the rest of the world. Anyways, should Americans just stick to their own problems? And if you are American - please don't mention 'whitewashing their history' or 'they only know what the government tell them'...just a little hypocritical. I personally believe that the CCP is one of the most beneficial, responsible governments in the world today - regarding raising the quality of life for its own citizens and helping other 2nd/3rd world countries develop (SE Asia/Africa)

My mum was born in Armagh but I was born in England. Could I become an Irish citizen through her? I remember hearing something about being people born on the ISLAND of Ireland, north or south of the border, being citizens of Ireland.

Will he donate the weapons of mass destruction he said Sadam Hussein had and weren't found because Sadam gave them to Georgie to show them in his library so he could be able at last to say, "you see you see, Sadam had those weapons and here it's the proof". Maybe Prez will include in his collection the pictures taken in the Abu Grahib prison, or maybe the images of more than 200 Palestinians being killed by the Israeli soldiers. Better yet, he might include a copies of all his brilliant speeches, or maybe his military records. I think that it will also have a bar in which will be offered tastings of Prez's favorite booze. I don't know but maybe he will include an edited list of bussines associates. But what I really think is that he should put a life size picture of his father at the entrance of the building because daddy made him President of the greatest superpower of the world without even knowing how to do two things at once without choking.

They swing by every morning around 2 a.m., and shine spotlights in the windows. It's horribly annoying and disruptive, not to mention invasive. Every time I see them, I come outside and tell them the same story: he does not live here anymore and I don't know where he went. I don't even like the guy. I thought the police would have better things to do than to continually bother a law-abiding citizen, but apparently not.

They also keep threatening me with felony charges of harboring a felon. I know they're bluffing, but I'm afraid they might get a bullshit warrant one day and I'll have to spend a lot of time & money proving myself innocent.

I'm an American citizen currently in college in the US. I don't want to get married young, but I want to be with my boyfriend post-grad as he lives in the Netherlands.

I want to go to graduate school in America though (for American law), so that means at least another 3 years post-bachelors. Is it possible to not get married and somehow have him move here even if he's not a student (meaning no F-1 visa) and if he does not have a specialized trade?

There was the Triangle Shirt Factory fire in NYC, then a bad fire in Binghamton, NY about a month later and good things came of it.
Another fire in Chicago traped people behind doors that opened in and now doors open out.
There has got to be a way to make something good of 9/11. Someone should at least try...............

All over the world, the communists champions that they fight for the people. But they have no respect to democratic values and suppress the people; and a few elites enjoy all privileges. In a democratic country like India, they follow fascist methods to make political milages. India has been a poor country; and a good hunting ground for them. Indian Intellectuals are deeply influenced by leftiest thinking. Because, otherwise they cannot survive.
Here in India, the Communists can make or break an industry, institution, individuals also. ALL IN THE NAME OF PEOPLE.

Organized Crime has existed in Russia (former Soviet Union) for centuries. Under the communist regime corruption was as normal in Russia as snow falling during the winter. One of the big money makers for the Russian criminals was selling Western products on the black market, a market they controlled in the 1970s and 80s. It was also during this time that there was a wave of Russian émigrés who fled to North America. Most of these émigrés were Jewish, however a lot of Russians faked a Jewish passport, among them Russian criminals. Most of the Russians settled in Brighton Beach in New York, which has got the largest Russian population outside of Russia.
Russian criminals are active in: Fraud, transnational money laundering, extortion, drug trafficking, weapon smuggling, auto theft, white slave trafficking/prostitution, hostage taking, extortion of immigrant celebrities and sport figures, transportation of stolen property for export, insurance (staged auto accidents) and MURDER
