I am 50, crippled and homeless. I live near Oakland, CA. What are the chances a dire need letter will shave off a few months and especially, in this densely populated metropolitan area?

My answer has to be 'none' because todays bunch are a load of pompous self-centered, petty-minded, back-stabbing, overpaid and under-worked nincompoops! Now prove me wrong!

That is why so many of us are so upset about Mexico over running America. It SHOULD be a melting pot, with a variety of immigrants as in the past (Africa, China, Europe). What the heck makes Mexico think they have a right to come here without following the same rules everyone else in the world follows? That is a question I've often asked of those supporting your illegal aliens. I have yet to get an answer so why don't you tell me? Why should Mexico be allowed to just walk over the border when the rest of the decent world has millions of people who want to come here as well and are doing the right thing by coming legally? Or do you just believe in totally open immigration, no background checks and the entire world should send all their poor here? If it's good for Mexico then it should be good for the rest of the world as well?

Here's an article titled, 'Government Urges Supreme Court to Stay Out of Times Case'.

1. I thought there was an actual law against this?

2. Does this not jeopardize our democracy?

3. Doesn't this violate the constitution?

4. Who in the **** do they think they are, Bush?... thinking they can just make demands on our legal system because they don't like what the more than likely outcome will be?

This is NOT a question about whether or not we should have gone into Iraq. This is a question of, after we are there, how it should have been handled

Where have all the true PATRIOTS gone? Are we a true nation of SHEEPLE?

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

The change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the four-minute song
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they all flown in the last war

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
No, no!

a deployment? My husband is deployed and has been gone for several months. I am really lonely without him and I needed another man to fill that void. I feel guilty but I keep seeing my friend to fill my emotional and physical void. Is my husband's deployment a valid excuse to cheat? I don't cheat on him when he is here... I really hate him being in the Army and away from me...

I am a Chinese student studying in a university in the UK, I wonder if I could drive my car to France (maybe through the channel tunnel) with a Chinese driving licence. And a further problem with this is that: the original licence is in China under an annual inspection and all I have now in my hand is a duplicate of the original driving licence and that duplicate is issued by the Chinese government. Thank you for answering my question!

In light of the growing violence in Iraq--apart from the military conflict--when do we stop playing the semantics game and call a spade a spade? More than 100 Iraqi civilians are killed every day, many bound, tortured, and murdered execution-style. Just the other day, 200 Iraqis were killed. What benchmark do we need to reach for our government to admit that the "sectarian violence" is, in fact, a civil war? What credible reference are we using to distinguish between sectarian violence and civil war?
