What are my chances of having a speeding ticket thrown out if I take it to court?? Can I still go to traffic school if I am found guilty? I was speeding 16 miles over the limit. The road sign said 35 mph when I last saw it, but apparently there is a small stretch of road (1/2 mile) where the speed limit goes down to 25 mph. The officer clocked me at 41 mph in this area. What do you think? Court or a waste of time?

Wasn't it already starting to crumble by the mid 70's when punk came out, a full three years before Thatcher came to power.

In light of the recent court decision to pay a large amount of money to guests of HM the Queen, who were forced to go "cold turkey" from their regular heroin fix without any treatment, would a patient, who is also a nicotine adict, have a case if he decided to go the same legal route with one of those hospital administrative bodies who have banned smoking?

Do they have to pass it like a normal bill with the President signing it? Or is it already guaranteed in the Constitution (no taxation w/o representation)?

.. Why is it that if I sell an event ticket (e.g. a concert or sporting event) for a cost that exceeds the face value of the ticket, it is considered scalping (illegal at least in CA) but I can sell my PS3 for $5,000 on eBay (more than six times its "face value") and it is perfectly legal?

I'm wondering why there's so many ill-informed, uneducated, right-wing opinions in here. This country has a skills deficit which even the current levels of immigration are failing to fill. If we cut the number of skilled workers allowed into the country it will get even worse. We're getting better trained and harder working medical staff from Africa and India than we're producing from our own education system, do you really want to stop these people coming into the country? Is it because they're "taking our jobs"?

Do you support or not support the illegal immigration in the U.S. ?

I am trying to focus on the South American illegal immigration, like the Mexicans and other natioins.

If you do or do not, then what do you think should be done?

This question is open for everyone. I do not wish to see any insult, harressment, anger-provocation. I just want to see the both sides of the opinions.

My view; I am %50 in for, and %50 against for the illegal immigration.

Support- the U.S.A. was founded by the true immigration spirit, where eveyone is treated equal and deserves the opportunity for his life.

No Support- disappointignly, many of the illegal immigrants disobey the law, and there are many other factors that does more harm than good in this society.

Your opinion?

Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way:

#1. I'm the head of the family, so call me The President.
#2. Your mother is the administrator of the money, so we call her the Government.
#3. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call
you the People.
#4. The nanny, we'll consider her the Working Class.
#5. And your baby brother, we'll call him the Future.

"Now, think about that and see if it makes sense." So, the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what Dad has said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying,
so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has soiled his diaper. So, the little boy goes to his parent's room and finds his mother sound asleep.

Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room.
Finding the door locked, he looks in the peephole and finds his father in bed with the Nanny.

It must be a logistical nightmare for someone to sort this out. And those poor people who were already on council house waiting lists are they pushed to the back of the queue.

Surely the council stocks must be so depelted since the option to buy was established way back. So many immigrants must stay in rented accommodation so does this mean we are back rackmanism

Stop the war on the poor little tobacco leaf, Think of all the jobs lost so far in this illegal attack on a legal substance. Did tobacco plants ever attack the USA, no, they grow peacefully in the ground until some evil human snatches them, dries them out and sets them on fire. Stop the torture now.

Does is seem silly to go into a country and fight a war then apoligize and send hundreds of millions of dollars fixing it back up to give it back to them? Do we spend to much money fixing them back up? We defeated Japan in WWII. That ment liberating almost every island in the South Pacific. Why aren't they states now. Italy? Germany? Russia took and kept their half plus every country in the Eastern Block they "liberated"? They are doing it now in Chechnya and tried to do it in Afhganistan. Are they wrong or are we? The US has already sent over 500 million dollars in aid to Iraq and probably close to that in Afghanistan. WHY?

There is a lot of talk that Hilary is the likely Democratic candidate in '08. Most Presidents have had prior administrative experience, such as being a governor of a state. I am not aware of any such experience in her past. As far as public service, she only brings 1 term as a US Senator. (I believe JFK was the last President who was a Senator prior to becoming President, and was not a Governor). Any serious input, I am curious?
