It brainwashes people into thinking they should have power and let others dictate over them and decide everything based on power.

One problem is always present:
Lack of Motivation. People all work the same hours and are paid the same no matter how hard or well they work. In a capitalist society, outstanding performance is encouraged by some sort of reward system. That idea is agianst the principles of Communism and the end result is a bunch of lazy, uncaring workers.
The major problem evident in the Soviet Union was the blatant destruction of the communistic ideal by the ruling party. Those in power took all the good things and deprived the rest of the population, exactly the situtation communism was attempting to prevent.

It doesn't work. Carl Marx Utopian dream. Every bodies equal. Didn't work. Economically the concept falls on its face because the lack of competition makes for mostly inferior products and a unproductive work force. As for everyone being equals or part of one big pie. After the former Soviet Union collapsed it was found to have a large black market economy. The natural desire to improve ones position in life could not be stopped. Free market economies embrace those desires. In my book free markets aren't perfect but they are the best way to go.
Short answer: It's all about ECONOMICS!

No incentive to preform and most people need that. They won't work hard for the common good alone.
Lack of personal freedom to waste things, the guilty pleasures of life. We're human,I want luxury sometimes even though I know someone else might suffer for this.
I don't want the same car as my neighbor because we decided this is the best car.I want to choose myself even if that car is way too expensive and the money could be better spent on humanitarian aid.
Not saying I'm proud about this but communism doesn't work in my opinion because for it to work,we should stop being humans, with all our faults and insecurities and become supermen who are constantly concerned with the common good. Not going to happen.
The Communist solution is out of touch with reality

You have to live in one to understand one. Lesson can be learned from the Vietnam war. If it is so great, why did the people fled the country after the North and South became one. One said: "if the light pole has feet, It'd fled the country, too". BRAINWASHING, CONTROLLING, DICTATING, NO FREEDOM, NO RIGHT. You have to watch over your shoulder all the time. Cannot trust anyone, even your love ones, especially the younger generation. They've told to report any thing and everything that happening in the household. BE GRATEFUL AND APPRECIATE THE THING AMERICA HAD AND OFFERED BECAUSE YOU'RE LUCKY TO BE HERE.

It is completely contrary to human nature. It requires an idealized version of people to work, not actual people, with all their foibles and character defects and individual wants and needs, etc.
It requires an enslavement of the mind and spirit, a subordination of the individual to the collective, where the individual is of no worth and is disposable for the good of the collective whole.

Going from the pages of a book to the urban community.
It is easier to go from Ideal to the farm. Farmers are naturally pro sharing But try to bring Communism to the city and you got problems.
