It's sad to see that Lebanon, a safe haven for christians in the middle east, is slowly being destroyed by Islamic radicals. Syria has once again assissinated a Lebanese christian politican. the radicals are going to destroy Lebanon and lead it to another civil war.

that is exacly what we are doing. every terrorist we kill by being in iraq is one less terrorist that could be waging war in Lebanon or any other country they wish to fight.
Its kind of like the line from "good morning vietnam" What are you doing to kill the enemy. Well we go around and ask them are you the enemy and if they say yes we shoot them."
they are not just out in the open Its an urban war where we cant go to where they are, they are all over. We fight were we are untill they stop fighting back then we will go somewhere else until they stop fighting their too.

i KNOW it will be an islamic country and that might be soon.. even though i don't want it to at all!!! cuz lebanon will be hell if it was an islamic country... the beauty of lebanon is in the diversity, that's what makes it everything it is.. it's a fact that most of the young christians are the ones that right after graduating are heading overseas to where they can have a better life, and the most educated christians that end up settling and getting married are not having a big family because they know how to calculate and they know they can't raise and educated a big number of kids.. while the muslims keep having babies and growing more without thinking about the future of those kids or the future of their families (well , a big number of them!).. so it's most likely that lebanon will be an islamic country and if it will be, not a single christian would stay in lebanon because i don't think christians could live in a country like that, cuz alot of changes will be made once lebanon is all islamic.....

Betcha a nickel they are on the list for improvement. Once a stable government is in place in Iraq, I am hopeful that the possible promise of an open and free society will spread through the region. And I firmly believe that is what most of the leadership in the surrounding nations fear above all. Losing control. Being forced to unclench their iron fisted reign of their people. I think the process is well under way already. Hopefully, good common sense will prevail and we will not turn tail in Iraq. We will commit the assets needed to get done what needs to be done quickly. When this is finished, I believe events will have been set in motion that will change the face of the region and for the better.

It is sad. Jumayel will not be the only one assasinated this year, and I think the free world should help the Christians in Lebanon. At least the Christians in Egypt (of Coptic church) are able to leave and escape Muslim persecution...

i don't know. perhaps we should send all the christians to lebanon. they can keep the peace and be safe there.
ps. Lebanon is a country with three religious factions, and while they do now for the most part live peacefully, I have never heard of Lebanon as "safe haven" for Christians. There are Christians in Syria, Egypt, Jordan, etc.

Not only are the Islamic radicals ruining many countries they are trying to KILL all infidels. That would be all Christians, Jews, Hindus and even atheists. There are very few moderate Muslims because one of the Korans fundamental teachings is Jihad. So all true believers of Muhammad's teachings also must believe in Jihad. That is the reason there are no Muslim outcries at the atrocities of their brethren, they believe themselves they are doing Allah's work.
