Is it true that Switzerland has a large civil defense force? I was told that all men from 18 to around 40 are required to join. They train each year. Also they are required to have an assault rifle and ammunition in their home. Is this true? ? Is that safe? How does that affect crime? Would someone from Switzerland tell me?

i had a neighbor that has installed hidden cameras in his home and his back and fron yard,
the invading part of my privacy is that it is facing my front and back yard. if their purpose is for thier own protection, i have no problem but if i was concern of my own protection i would not installed them and face them to someones elses back yard. it would be facing my yard for the purpose of someone trying to break into my yard.

im worried about my elderly neighbour, he dosent communicate well.is a bit mentally confused and does not really have the ability to look after himself or his own interests very well..

He has put his house on the market but has no family and can not tell me where he might live.
I believe my neighbour requires supervised living and already has a social worker who said my neighbour is not tecnically unfit to make his own decisions.
Would a solicitor allow his house to be sold if an offer was made on it due to the fact my neighbour is not capable of finding another place to live by himself.

If I'm not mistaken the big push agianist smokers was started as a health care cost issue. considering all the health care cost associated with over weight / obese people, which from what i'm reading is easily equallying health care cost assoicated with smoking. Now when you factor in all the cost of obese childeren, as young as a year old. As a smoker I think it only fair our govrement be fair in there discrimation. Ie... scales at the entrances of resturants if tipped at/to obese those persons would be refused service. This could be defened by saying it'sjust another attempt to controll the rising cost of health care. i'm tired of being singled out because of something I choose to do. Which by the way is still leagle by the way. If our local state and federal goverment have anything to do with it, it soon won't be. Just think ciggaretts could very soon be in the same category as pot or any other illegal drug.

Honestly, I am not trying to pull a joke nor am I trying to be sarcastic. The Bush Regime had about 4 group of people.

1. The Corporations = Cheney, Exxon, The Scowcroft Group

2. The Jews who were promised full security for Israel and wealth if Bush won the White House = Canadian Frum, Wolfowitz, Perle, Kristol, Libby , Kissinger ect....

3. Joe Wilson & others who really thought they were serving the United State but got the boot for working

4. The Christians who really thought that Bush was a man of God. The Christians that really wanted a moral United State. The Christians that were concerned about the direction of the United State after two fags kissed on stage celebrating the victory of Bill Clinton. The Christians that were concerned about the rising crimes in the United State. I share all of your concerns too but you guys just jumped on the wrong boat.

Maybe a fat devil, on viagra, is whispering too much fake news into Christians' ears?

A cell phone captured video of a 23-year-old student being administered multiple Taser shocks by UCLA police on Tuesday.

According to the Daily Bruin, the student did not show ID to community service officers who were conducting a random check. UCLA police said the student was released by police after he was cited for obstruction/delay of a peace officer in the performance of duty.

The paper reported that the student complained when an officer was escorting him from the lab and put his hand on one of the students arms. He allegedly yelled, "Get off of me," according to the paper. He was then shot with the Taser.

The Daily Bruin reported that after he was hit, the stdent yelled, "Here's your Patriot Act, here's your f---ing abuse of power."

Police said they thought he was not harmed in the incident. "If he was able to walk out of here, I think he was OK," the sergeant said.
You be the judge.

lately as you all know a lot of controversity has risen over the videos of police officers who use too much power, aggrecion as well as force. i think that the only reason those people that we thought we used to think were safe still rule the streets is because they have more power now than a couple of years ago as well as their actions considered right and lawful, not wrong my question is: does anyone else think that what the police is doing is ridiculous in a lot of cases? i have just read a recent article about how police used pepper spray on a college student who would not want to leave the library when asked because of too much homework. does the police have to stoop to pepper spray and beating people now a days including college students? and the police says that the actions were right and that none of its officers did anything wrong. what do you honestly think?

The govt pumps many times more money into research for women only deceases, than it does for mens. Also, the media, which often works hand in hand with the govt when it sees fit, will have a 100 articles regarding female health, before you see a male 1. Does this all now mean that mens lives are of less value than our ladies are.

Please also bear in mind that mens serious predicaments, amount pretty equally to womens.
