YOU have to pay support if SHE CHOOSES to KEEP the child.
Is this fair? It is a HUMAN life - not a pet we are talking about.

So - SHE can CHOOSE to end the life of a child - OR -
She can SAY she is on birth control (or sterile) and give birth and make you pay

I think that if people, men and women, do not want a baby they should not have sex!
That being said and ignored by a lot of you - I think it is unfair to the men that women can abort their child without them even knowing they had a child.
And yes - it is even more unfair to a child to be brought into the world when the parents did not and do not want it - ADOPTION is my answer to that.

Because as a father you have a financial responsibility to that child. It isn't fair to the mother to assume that she will pay for everything for the child if the father splits.
The one way out of it for the man is to sign over his parental rights of the child. Then he has no financial responsibility towards that child. But he would also be giving up any say in that childs life forever. If the mother were to die the child would go to foster care, not the father.

I am a Conservative but i believe all men should pay child support even if the child is not theirs, i believe they should be required to wax their car every day and buy each child a new mommy down at the store.

Interesting question, for libs or otherwise. I don't know exactly how to answer your question, but you may be interested to know that there is a case going on right now (I think in MD) on exactly that question. I saw the guy's lawyer on TV, and his position was that "Roe changed everything!" The other side of the coin, of course, is that the woman may be strongly "pro-life" for whatever reason and regardless of consequences. I don't think the courts are going to take the position that she MUST abort simply because she can. I guess that would be my position too.

If she chooses to keep the child, that's fine. The point is, she should have the right to choose. It's not a baby and it is expendable until it takes the first breath.
But I do believe adoption is the better idea.

I agree with you. what the goverment is sayin by allowing abortions without fathers consent and making the father pay child support is that discrimination is ok as long as its not against certain people. this is called dualism fallacy

Child support is for the interest of the child. period. So the fairness of the mother or father is not up for debate. It might not be fair in all situations, but it is worse to deny a child the cost of food, clothing and education. I would rather see 10 guys have to pay child support they don't want to pay, then have one child not have food and cloths while the father does.
That's the difference.

Men always pay for sex some men pay up front others pay later.
Simply said all men throughout history have paid for sex. All sex is paid for and men are the ones that pay.

... I'll give you the same shallow harsh answer conservatives constantly give for their abuses.. .
Life isn't fair
but to really be more honest... there isn't a feasible way to do it... people don't stop having abortions if they are outlawed you know...
