It's already legal. Don't you mean illegal?

For Fraginal, why would you want abortions when it comes from rape? If you think that abortions is wrong then why would you a "baby" to be killed only because it came from rape?

It already is legalized.

There are a number of reasons:
As bad as you think abortion may be- it's worse if you make it illegal. Women will still have abortions- but underground- that's not good.
Raising a child in this world requires an incredible investment in resources and time. Why bring someone into this world who's either not wanted, or the parent(s) are not in a position to care for them?

And interesting statistical analysis book (Freakenomics) claimed that the drop in crime in the US in the late 80's and early 90's was directly correlated with Roe v Wade +20 years. All those unwanted pregancies didn't happen, and a whole generation of poorly raised children who would grow up to be criminals ... never happened.

Then, of course, there is a woman's right to control her own body.

And- the cases of Rape or Incest.
Or in the cases of serious genetic disorders. Frankly, I'd rather abort a 3 month old fetus than have it die a slow, painful death over 3-5 years requiring millions in health care.

It is legal. It should remain legal. The three reasons:

1. It is a personal decision for a woman. It is her business and her business only.
2. The government needs to stay out of the personal lives of its people. Conservatives often talk about limiting freedom. Having the government deciding this issue is exactly what conservatives fighting against.
3. Any ban on abortion access is going to set up a vast web of illegal and unsafe abortion clinics. Hidden away, no scrutiny for health and sanitary concerns - women will die at these places.

It is legal, but should not be. Every abortion kills an innocent human being. Every abortion is murder. For more information, see http://Abort73.com See also:

Some abortions have to be legal to protect the lives of women with health problems, most can be avoided with good jobs, health care, counseling and with about 30 years of deprogramming people of the immorality we've been exposed to, I would actually support a reform of roe v wade, but you can't allow immorality to run rampant and then punish people for the end results that it causes (unwanted pregnancy) and you can't force women/teens to have children without giving them a complete support system, like providing housing, counseling, paid medical care etc... Solve all of the problems that cause women to not want children and then you can make most abortions illegal.

Abortion is legal and I think it should be. Blanket laws that affect the entire female population as a whole would not work when the decision and situations are of an individual nature.

Some people don't have the brain power to understand that a ball of cells is not a person. It is legal and should remain legal. If you don't like abortions...don't have one.

Abortion can only be legalized on the following situations:
1. When the pregnancy was due to rape;
2. The mother cannot have a proper pregnancy;
3. The fetus is so weak and it cannot survive, and
4. Other analogous situations with valid medical reasons.

It shouldn't be legal. there are two human beings involved. One shouldn't have priority over the other one.

By the way we are all made up of balls of cells.
