Don't ask - don't tell.
If they were average people and didn't push this on us would it make a difference?
This means no dressing weird and men talking like women. All that.

I'm against gay marriage,I'm against preferential treatment to any1. I don't think my city ought to pay for special events for gays. They wanna be gay fine, just leave me and mine alone!
Born with it or becoming gay is not normal any way, shape or form. God created Man and Woman to be as one and reproduce and to love and live for him. Man what a mess we made of all that!

I honestly don't know if this is a serious question. It is either laughable or scary. How, exactly, is a parade or a flag "pushing" anything on anybody? And please do NOT use the word "us". Speak for yourself. There isn't any "us". You are entitled to your own opinions only, not the opinions of others. Homosexuals ARE "average people". Anyone who thinks otherwise is an ignorant homophobe. Are you seriously advocating that people give up their personal freedoms, such as what they choose to wear on any given day? What are you suggesting? That everyone look and sound the same, or whatever it is that YOU consider to be "normal"? Perhaps you would be happier in a place like Communist China, where everybody wears a gray uniform. Is that more to your liking? What next? Maybe people from Western states should stop wearing cowboy hats and boots, or people in the South should stop talking with twangs? Maybe I think that YOU "dress weird" or talk "funny". Do I have the right to tell YOU that you have to stop being the way you are, because I don't think it's normal, or "average"? Whether you are talking about something like a style of dressing or talking, or a consenting couple's choice to live their life the way THEY want to, this question is the epitome of discrimination and intolerance. I say, how dare you?

I live in the south, never seen a gay pride parade or flag... and people sure are strongly against it...

maybe those things make people accept it more, since it seems to be more accepted in the places that have those things?

You're pushing it a little far when you talk about talking weird. However, I do agree, and many of my gay friends agree, that the agenda of gay people is hindered by those who are outspoken and obnoxious (just as those types of people hinder any movement). You can express yourself and you can be yourself without getting people to turn their heads for reasons other than your skills and talents.

Everyone deserves the right to succeed and pursue their dreams, but we often have to adjust to the environment we desire to be in. I understand it shouldn't really be that way, just like I shouldn't have to cut my hair and wear nice clothes if I want to move up the corporate ladder, but I do, because I understand that's how things work, and I have no right complaining if I don't move up if I'm not acting in a way that fits the climate of my company.

And how is their behaviour pushing it on "us" (there is no us, its just you who seems to be affected by their behaviour)

They have a right to live how they want, as you do.

Should we then tell every heterosexual to stop kissing in public, because they are pushing their behavior on gays?

And how can you judge someone by how they dress or act? I know a few men who "act" girlie (high voice, dress funny) who are straighter than most men.

The only people who have problems with gays, and statisitically are actually closet homosexuals themselves.

How is "dressing weird" and "talking like women" pushing homosexuality on you? Would you really rather live in denial? A little sheltered bubble? Grow up. They are allowed to express themselves just as much as heterosexual couples. I can't believe you're threatened by these things...

Maybe.
It is still against my religion and that would still be a factor but I do not like going to San Francisco and seeing what they do there. Nothing like that exists in my home town and I am happy about that but would it make me more accepting - I do not know.
