Was there something in particular that Kerry wanted Bush to apologize for that had to do with Kerry's blunder? Was it just an attempt at damage control as he knew that his die hard supporters would automatically agree with him if he demanded an apology from Bush?

I posted a question and it was misread.
Equal rights for gays should include living without fear, should be living and being able to choose there partner, having excess to inhertiance of there joint estate, having access to visit in the hospital and other basic human rights enjoyed by straight couples.
(is this special rights or equal rights)

I follow politics moderately. But some Americans seem to schedule their whole lives around it and it almost seems like they view people who follow the other political party as "heretics". Is politics religion for some people? Does it give them a reason to wake up every morning? Something to believe in and justify their existence?

I keep wondering that.I mean everyone hated the guy
before his first term ended and it did not seem
possible he would become president again and yet
here he is.From research I saw that voters can put in as much
ballets as they want using the manual option on E-Votes.
And I also heard that computer errors can increase or decrease
number of votes.

Repulican controled Washington has made no mention of this problem and therefore taken no action to solve it. Why should any of us vote for a party that has no concens for our well being?

The Republican or Democrat congress? We should think about this and the financial condition of our citizens before we vote. It gets worse every month, with the future looking quite scary if we don't do something soon.

"The Military Times will call for the firing of Defense Secretary Rumsfeld in a couragous act that demonstrates the failure of the policy and the urgent need for change.

The Army Times, Marine Corps Times, Navy Times and Air Force Times are the most informed sources of information and truth about what our commanders and troops believe, in fact."

They say: "We should demand full accounting of what force structures and budgets our military will need and work on a bipartisan basis to meet those needs of the Army, Marine Corps, Guard and Reserves with no further abuses of rotations and recalls."

Do these positions deserve support?

My husband has been served with a paternity suit. Twelve years ago, the plaintiff gave birth to a child and her boyfriend was named as the father, ordered to pay child support, etc. In 2002, he took a DNA test proving he was not the father and the judgement was set aside. Now, my husband is being summoned. Should we even hire a lawyer or is this a case he will lose? What options do we have? I thought there was a limitation on paternity especially since another was named on the birth certificate and paid support for so long, how did this individual get out of his responsibility. If my husband is the father and a child support judgement is entered, should we transfer all assets to me in order to protect ourselves? Thank you, I appreciate any feedback.

My grand-daughter lives with her and the real estat agent said they would fix them but still nothing has been done. I know there are penalties so can somebody please tell me what they are and I will ring them myself as this is getting beyond a joke.
Thankyou all.

Immigrants come to the U.S. for a variety of reasons - to reunite with family or to find better employment opportunities - and would prefer to do so through legal channels. However, the U.S. immigration system is extremely limited, and undocumented immigrants in the U.S.S cannot simply apply for a visa and obtain legal status.

AMMAN, Jordan - Saddam Hussein urged Iraqis on Sunday to reject the sectarian violence ripping his country apart and to "not take revenge" on U.S. invaders, his chief lawyer said after the ousted leader was sentenced to death.

"The message from President Saddam to his people came during a meeting in Baghdad this morning, just before the so-called Iraqi court issued its verdict in his trial," Khalil al-Dulaimi told The Associated Press in a telephone interview from Baghdad.

I think we all know this is pure bs. Saddam never said what they quoted. He hates this country.

Less than an hour later, he's quoted as saying: "Down with the invaders! Allahu Akbar!" (God is Greatest), before he was led away by guards. He was probably also telling Bush to kizz where the sun doesn't shine.

Its all such a crock

at 25% for a car he had that was repossesed back in 2004. He told me that someone told him that they have no right in garnishing his wages for something he no longer posseses. They took the car, sold it on an auction, now they want $14,000. He only had the car for less than a year. Is this even legal? If so, what can he do? He's in the state of California.
