tell all of this to the judge. if its your first offense maybe he will go easy on you. just be honest with him..be sure and be well groomed. be calm. and only answer what is asked.

good luck

Ask to see the DA before the court begins, bring in proof of what you are telling us, military rules where you lose your MOS and the such.

Work out a deal where you pay a fine ( will be larger) and do maybe community service and after you do those things, they will adjudiate the verdict.

Other wise if you do what they say, it never happened on paper.

If you find a DA that is pro military, they may,
but if you get a liberal DA they will see you get convicted

Traffic tickets are usually considered Infractions and not part of a criminal record. Go state your case that you were an idiot. Tell the Judge your military status and hope he lets you off with a fine. However, I have seen judges who don't care if you are military, police, ect...that will throw the book at you.

Just explain your situation to the judge bring proof of your going to Iraq to fight for your country! Admit you were wrong and pay your fines and you should be okay. Surely you don"t have a record and this is your first offense as long as you pay restitution you should be fine!

I think you should start preparing for a new job. 99% of the time, people are convicted of something!

put on your Class A's. tell the judge or magistrate your circumstances. pray.

BTW your clearance is good for what,4 years? 8 years? only when they try to renew your clearance will it be denied. you should be good for now.

Whoa--that cop stuck it to you!

Maybe he won't show up in court and some of it will be dropped. It may be continued.
