45 million Americans without health insurance is a crisis into itself.
That's why we need a plan for health unsurance to cover Americans that don't have it, or can't afford it.

Do you think the world deserves a cure for AID's ? How about Cancer, MS or even diabetes ? If you ask the government to institute "Government provided or funded health care" then none of those things will ever come to pass. Ditto for all of the new drugs for high blood pressure, impotence, Arthritis, Eczema and hundreds of other things that are developed by American drug companies each year. You won't see Canadian or British or Cuban companies bringing new developments to the world because they have systems designed to restrict the medical industries ability to charge for services rendered. Anytime a company has a loss of revenue it will look to cut it's own costs and the first thing that will be cut is R&D.
There is a health care problem in America. Most people don't realize that there are already government programs in place to combat this problem. Our basic social infrastructure includes access to health care through the publicly funded hospitals all over America. Anyone can show up in their ER and receive treatment. It's not as convenient as having your own dr but it's there. Problem is that system was designed to support a certain percentage of the population considered indigant or working poor. It has been swamped and overrun by the flood of illegal immigrants who come to the U S and see it as simply another benefit of being here.

As another conservative who just found your question, I too, believe that our Health care system is the best in the world. Yes, of course there are problems, but we have a hard time dealing with every problem because the Democrats insist that the biggest issues are abortion, embryonic stem cell research, which is murder, gay rights, and other stupid agendas. Democrats don't care about health care either. They just want to get as much money out of Hollywood for supporting their horrible lifestyle. Besides, you are unemployed right(from another question) Why don't you go get a job as a nurses aide, then you can see the kind of health care system we have.

I've been asking the same kind of questions of people for years.. The republican party is controlled by huge multinational corporations with no alliance to Americans, it utterly amazes me that so many people vote against their best interest's and vote for such an obvious bunch of liars as the republican party.

Well, you can also thank the idiots for voting down Clinton's bill for health care.
They only care about the big corporations and their pockets. They have good health care.
I don't want to pay for other people's kids schooling and the road tax and have Amish buggies tear up my roads but we have to help each other because we share the same Earth!

Do you think you shouldn't have to pay for services? Do you wan't free lawn care also? How about free massages? Maybe free laundry service?
Pay for your own crap, don't expect me to pay for it.
