You are forgetting that Hussein has the right to appeal the decision. He will never swing. The sentence that was handed to him was very likely done to improve the scathed image of the republican party.
Think about it. Two days with the election coming up? Of course George has his dirty little fingers in Iraq's cookie jar.You betcha.
