I love culture. I feel like I am not well travelled and I would love to live in Istanbul for some reason. I havent even been to Canada or Mexico.

Travel is good, but not every place is that fascinating (or pleasant) in the long run. Visit first, get a good feel for the place before making a permanent move.
Personally I'd love to visit many places I wouldn't want to move to.

Why not just go there on vacation for a week or two to see if you even like it there? Then make a decision.
