How fast does the gov't usually pay you for working for them as a poll worker?

Tony Blair now says he wants the National DNA Database expanded to include everyone in the UK, this to enhance the ability of the police to solve crimes. Highly commendable but critics say this will be linked to the national identity card that is one of his pet projects.No other EU country is planning anything like this DNA database for all it's citizens. There are so many possible misuses by the government of the system that it worries me.Remember your DNA can be taken if your arrested for any reason and even if found to be innocent your DNA record will be retained by the police which means the government. George Orwell in '1984' never dreamed of this!.

I know if you aren't legal, you can't get help from the government, and even if you have a kid who born here you need to be legal to get help. I think it is better for America if people who is already here stay illegal than legal, and when they work, they can,t have bank account good, you know what happen next, when they sick they didn't go to hospital cause they don't want to get deported. please put your oppinion don't be disrespectful

Legal help urgently needed,more than a high ST solicitor can deal with,my children were taken by a social worker who was sexually assaulting me and seven others,including members of staff,but I cannot get it reviewed,or the internal inquiry reports and have been denied any access untill my children are 18 without a reason,I have all the paperwork to back up extreme local government corruption,even when foster carers supported me,they were fired and my children moved this is very indepth and most details too private for this posting-you won't believe what has happened-I still can't PLEASE HELP URGENTLY

so for all opposed to building a wall on the border of MEXICO and the USA (which no matter what you say is america owned and always will be)

Will you one, tear down your fance in your back yard and front if you have one? are you not discriminating against your neighbor, since that is what you are trying to say.

Is it just me or does everything today being blamed on religion?For some reason it got banned from school,took out of the pledge of allegiance, and everytime something goes wrong here religion is to blame.Take this Foley deal going on.His excuse for his actions was being abused by a priest.How many times are they gonna use that?I mean really now come on.Is it just me or does everytime one of them get caught something else happens to overshadow it.What happened when Chandra Levy got missing,I think it was Columbine.Now Foley, and more school shootings.Is it just a coincidence.Now i'm not a big believer in coverups and all that junk but something just isn't fitting here.What do you think?

i work at a japense restaurant tahts privately owned. none of the waiters have TABC training, minors are serving alcohol, and alcohol has been served to minors. is there any action i can take with autorities to have this corrected?

Why anti illegals seem racist to Mexicans.

table 8-Legal immigrants
This shows over 2 million mexicans and 20,000 to 900,000 from other North American countries.
table 7-Estimated Illegal immigrants
This shows est. over 7000000 of ILLEGAL mexican immigrants compared to a few hundred thousand of immigrants from other countries.
Also, it shows that the last few years, there are FEWER LEGAL immigrants than before. Perhaps because its the easy way and the lazy way. But they are such hard workers.
---So do you still wonder why it seems racist to mexicans to speak on illegals? And maybe you get offended if you are mexican because you KNOW these facts?

And I just can't wait for someone to say how I don't get my facts or how I need to do my homework or whatever, or tell me I am racist just for putting out the facts.

I've read all the arguments about how illegal immigration is a crime just like rape and murder and theft. It IS a crime defined by our human law but it is NOT a crime defined by God's law. The other crimes mentioned above are included under the "thou shalt not's" of the Ten Commandments. I cannot find anywhere in the Bible where God opposes illegal immigration. In fact there are several places where God tells people to GO TAKE THE LAND! Joshua marched around the walled city of Jerico (hmmm...still wanting to build that WALL?) for seven days and simply by blowing his trumpet the walls fell and they took over the city. The Israelites who wandered in the desert for 40 years, God told them to go take the land of the Palestinians. They disobeyed and there has been civil unrest & war in the Mid East ever since.

I have been called a "bleeding-heart liberal" in this forum for my stance on illegal immigration. So how would all you Christian conservatives (of which I am 1) answer this?

Since the administration is taking back their plan and changing their stance and calling "stay the course" just a term for the past three years, why is the Bush administration not considered to be "flip-flopping" on their decisions? If a republican does that then it is acceptable but any democrat in history who changes his or her stance on an issue due to they way history unfolds itself on its own accord the democrat is then categorized as a gutless flip-flopper on issues.
