Pro player is going to do commercial in MO against cloning, and an actor who may be acting more sick than he really is should do commercial to counter the other opinion

I don't think actors should give political views no matter what. As for the matter at hand - nobody is reading the amendment. They're either "for stem cell research" or "against stem cell research." The amendment is not so black and white.

Opponents say it creates a right to do human cloning and it creates the right to human egg trafficking for cloning research.

If this is true, then it should be voted down, no matter who is doing the ads.

And for the record, embryonic stem research has produced zero results. None. It's a waste of money.

Yes, I do, and if you knew any thing about MS you would know that the actor temporarily quit his meds to film what MS really does.
Everyone of us has the right to speak up for something we believe in. If this right is not allowed , then I will ask , Why is rallman allowed to ask thoughtless questions with some allusion that Mr. Fox is pretending he is very ill , and suggesting that because a pro athlete is still playing, his opinion is invalid. Will it be valid when he retires? Think before you ask.

Michael J. Fox is NOT "acting more sick than he really is." How insufferably stupid you sound. He has Parkinson's, and chooses not to take medication so people can see the results of this awful disease (the cure for which could be found through stem cell research, which is what the ad is about, *not* cloning).

ADD: My above post is in error; after hearing from a Parkinson's expert, I find that it's the medication itself that causes the shaking; without the medication, the sufferer is frozen and cannot move. (Watch Awakenings for examples.)

It is there right and privelege to support their beliefs. How would you react if you were told because you were a professional in some area that you were not allowed to voice your support for what you believed in?

it really is their choice .... you don't have to buy into anything you might see or hear ....I hope more others think for themselves as well. Not a cynic just skeptical.
