Excellent points!
The fence is a good part of the answer, combined with other strategies, including deportation upon discovery, huge penalties to employers and landlords of illegal immigrants, complete cut-off of social benefits to illegal immigrants, etc.

good point, but i say theres nothing wrong with mexicans being here if they are LEGAL. another thing that happens is pregnant women will sneak into the usa from mexico and have their babies here so there baby will be a citizen, and then the government can't send the baby back, but then they wont send the mother back because they don't want to seperate the child and parent, what i think they should do is if you cant prove your citizenship in the hospital then take the baby for adoption and send the mother back, i garuntee if mexican women knew theyd be seperated from their baby they wouldn't be doing it anymore. and besides do you know how many people who can't have babies would love to have that baby.

Nobody owns land but God. He allows some of us to live here by HIS mercy and grace. Do you really think you should be so cocky as to say this land is "America owned and always will be?" Do you remember the Native Americans? Even they weren't so foolish as to claim to own the land. They lived here for thousands of years before the White ILLEGAL immigrants came and destroyed them and claimed the land for themselves only a couple of hundred years ago by the way. We should be thankful the illegals simply want to come for work. After all, what goes around comes around! Don't you just hate it when that comes back to bite you in the butt?! By the way, I hate to point this out when you're feeling so high & mighty but you may want to use spell check in the future!

while I understand that all people should come into the US legally, many mexicans are working in fields, bending over in the hot sun, for probably less than minimum wage. The farmers only can afford these people so they can make a profit and feed their families. How many of you whites are willing to work in the fields for less than minimum wage???Prices will go up on all vegetables, lettuce etc. if the farmers have to pay people minimum wage. Seriously, I want to know how many are out there willing to dig ditches, work in back breaking cement jobs, ride on trash trucks, etc....

No. It won't solve the problem at all. It's being crossed where there presently is a wall. They're crossing one of the biggest rivers on the continent.
The solution is in making legal immigration easier, working to improve conditions in Mexico (this will prevent companies leaving, and keep illegals there) and stiffening security with more border agents. A wall is nothing more than a symbol.

i'm sorry ur so ignorant to use this analogy. cuz if i remember this well, after hurricane katrina, american citizens in new orleans were breaking in houses, looting, killing, raping, etc. so what do u say to the american citizens in new orleans who were victims of american citizens in new orleans? BTW, what about all the money taken by US citizens & used for idiotic purchases?
see, hopefully u will see both of these analogies r totally different so once u stop throwing stones from a glass house, maybe u will understand!!!- BTW, not the best way to prove ur point!

Why did the U.S. consider an achievement the fall of the Berlin Wall? The wall is not the answer.
The planet has no solution. Poverty is not only Mexico's problem, it is the entire world's.
But then, we will all die sooner or later... so why spend so much time of your life with this anti-immigrant campaign?
We should spend time in the things that really matter.

How about this? will you let me move into your house, raid your fridge, make your wife treat me like her pimp and your son like my pool boy.
will you be Ok with me coming into your back yard, digging it up, spreading garbage all over it and pissing in your pool
Is it OK for me to sell weapons in your basement and throw a wild party in your living room and blame you when the cops show up? because that's equivalent to what Americans are doing in Mexico
there are two sides to every story

sounds like you have alot of personal issues you need to deal with and ur looking for someone to blame them on ... and i doubt it will end after you fulfill your racist fantasies against the mexicans ... it will just be the next group of people you find to blame everything on ... im an american ... ive lived in the states all my life in an area of a large illegal immigrant farmworker population .. and ive never felt threatened, lost a job, had problems finding a job, had an illegal break into my house , or assault my kids ... however , i have had many fellow-american victimize me over the years ... so you, trying to assign all our problems and guilt to illegals IS racist period.
