Since the administration is taking back their plan and changing their stance and calling "stay the course" just a term for the past three years, why is the Bush administration not considered to be "flip-flopping" on their decisions? If a republican does that then it is acceptable but any democrat in history who changes his or her stance on an issue due to they way history unfolds itself on its own accord the democrat is then categorized as a gutless flip-flopper on issues.

Dont forget to do spell check if you are going to take a jab at my intelligence. Strategies always change...but shouldnt one be required to take responsibility for ones actions along with changing strategies?

'Cause it's really a conservative media, not a liberal one.

The press has, does and will continue to bend over and pass the lube for Bush.

Bush is lying anyway. He STILL has NO PLAN! Operation "Stand around and get shot at" will continue unabated.

At least long enough to drop into the next president's lap (a democrat if this country has any brains - which I doubt), so that the Repugs can either blame Clinton or uh.... Clinton.

By the way, in case you don't know who to blame for everything, it's Clinton. Clinton did it.

This is all about Repugs trying to steal a Dem campaign issue by disguising themselves as Dems temporarily while they may actually be held accountable. After that it's back to bending America over a barrel. Lies, lies and more lies. How about a big, fat heaping spoonful of lies with a side order of lies and lies for dessert.

Geez...

You folks will reach for anything to give President Bush a jab.

Bush has said that we will stay in Iraq until the job is done. Strategies change. Let me put this in simple terms you might be able to understand. Ask any coach of any sports team if there is a need to change strategies at times. The focus is to win the game. You adjust the direction you take to get that done. President Bush is doing the same thing.

Get over the whole "flip flopping" thing. It happened, John Kerry did it and it is part of the reason he lost the election. Maybe the Dems have learned something from that. Somehow I doubt it.

Spell Check? That is the best you have to come back at me with? I am not questioning your intelligence. What is clear is that you are not the type of person to look at the facts and evaluate them on their merits. Whoever said that Bush is not taking responsibility for anything? Bush has certainly never said that. Quite the opposite. In the case of the War in Iraq, Bush would be flip-flopping if he stated we are leaving there before the job is done. Bush would be flip-flopping if he said that the invasion of Iraq had nothing to do with the War on Terror. And the biggie... Bush would be flip-flopping if he said that we invaded Iraq because Saddam was directly linked to the attacks on 9/11. Those are flip-flops.

If you feel I questioned your intelligence, that is a problem you have. Not one I alluded to.

Sorry, you still lose.

Where did he change his stance? Has anything drastically changed? No. Did he say something new or different? Not really. People kept criticizing his use of "stay of the course" so now he decides not to use those words anymore, but his views and everything else is still the same.

He has swap on 2 matters. Do I evaluate him a turn flopper, NO reason he had good motives to alter his positions. yet McCain has earned the identify of turn Flop King. no person has been able to reply to why McCain has turn flop on rather much each and every challenge. Even approximately his stand on nuclear power. He as pronounced throughout American he has a place to place nuclear waste until eventually he got here to NV and then he pronounced we could desire to continuously stumble on a place to place it.

Unless the right honourable gentleman changes his policy and methods and moves without the slightest delay, he will be as great a curse to this country in peace as he was a squalid nuisance in time of war

Because he often changes sides on his issues, like maybe he was for preventing immigrants and then he were to change his mind, he didn't do that bu that would be an example

Because Kerry tried to take both sides of an issues, depending who he talked to. That's why he lost.
