You KNOW why...they will grasp on to anything, even the most obvious lies and maneuvering to deflect any negative effects their bad behavior may have at election time. Blame it on the booze, their own "lack of knowledge," and their favorite, the Democrats. The fact is, THEY sat on the Foley thing for YEARS, intending to keep him in office and do nothing. Now that it's all come to light, they're trying to lie and say the Democrats did exactly what they did, in reality. And, ARE Americans smart enough? Why do so many (Republicans) seem to be falling for it, again?

It's important to remember that these emails were being shopped around to major media outlets well over a year ago, and many media organizations have already admitted that. But the media that saw the emails (not the IMs, mind you) decided there was no story here, no "smoking gun", if you will, so they didn't go with it, just as House Leaders didn't go overboard on Foley. They told him to knock it off, but that's as far as it went. Indeed, that's as far as it could go. Having no proof that any crime was committed or may have been committed (and it's still not entirely clear whether one has been or not), they didn't have any authority to open a full-blown investigation. They could have poked around informally, yes...but then they would have been accused of gay-bashing, which the Dems love to say we do all the time, while ignoring the fact that that's exactly what they are happily doing right now.

Surprise? and nothing new at all. Foley is gone. So many people asked me why nothing had done before and how can this man bully the teens. In my opinion, it is a pattern and it had happened before and now he got caught. By the way, it is Midterm election and anything goes and I urge you watch and see. Life must go on. Drama,Drama and Drama.

Do you mean Axel Foley the New York Cop. If he was investigating the matter he would tell you that both major political parties are the one party who role play for your benefit. He would say they pretend that your vote counts and that a democracy exists. He would expose the plot to rule America by treaty and high court decisions overriding the much loved Constitution and get the girl in the end.

The republicans are acting like the naughty little kid that causes another to get hurt.Everyone remembers the kind in grade school. The one that pushes another one down. When the teacher comes he falls to the ground and acts like he is hurt too.Tries to make it look like the other kids fault. He knows he is caught. He tries this desperate move to try and gain sympathy. The republicans are caught. They are trying to blame the Democrats.

Because republicans are desperate... they can't stand on anything their administration has done, so all they can do is attack and try to force democrats to be on the defense rather than talk about the issues.
