They were sent here by another countries government. They send our money home to prop up their country. They make us pay for their offspring. And overtax our public systems. They rose up in the streets once. When they get suffitient numbers whats to stop them from changing our country to suit them?

James Baker, the consult hired by the Bush Administration to come up with a plan to leave Iraq, had his report leaked to the Phoenix Sun claiming that there are only two strategies to leave Iraq and that they essentially "rule out any prospect of making Iraq a stable Democracy in the near term".

So my question is: since there were no WMD, we aren't in the dictator removal business, and Iraq isn't actually going to get a Democracy, did we officially loose?

It's kinda hard for me to say that we did, because we never really had any goals or plans in the first place.

What are your thoughts? At what point do we realize that this failed and that constitutes a loss?

You enlist and a year later get your GI Bill, you start going to a 2 or 4 year college while in the Army..Once you finish school, Will you get some promotion?

-Like if you got your bachelors degree (4 year), Is their a certain rank you would have to be to take OCS or could you take it right when you got out of school at like probably E-4/E-5?

-Or at a 2 year school getting your associates degree in something, would they promote you somewhere up in the enlistment ranks? Because if you enlist w/ an associated they start you of at like E-4 or sometihng like that..Would they promote you somewhat if you got it while aready enlisted

--Any answers to this question would be GREATLY appreciated

(PS-I cant go to a recruiter at the moment so please dont tell me 2 go ask one of them)

--Thanks

The police in New Haven, Conn. have concluded that the 29 year old man who killed his 58 year old neighbor over a reported molestation had not been molesting her. The father, upon hearing from his wife that their two year child had complained of molestation by the neighbor, went next door and stabbed the man to death. The father faces murder charges, and the mother may be charged too, for filing molestation charges against the neighbor.

This sounds like there might be more to it, because what parent would KILL someone based on what a two year old said? And if they did believe that a two year old could be reporting the truth, why wouldn't they report it to the police and let them do their job, instead of taking vigilante justice, and apparently misplaced vigilante justice in this case. into their own hands.

What do people on this forum think of this man? Is it possible he became unhinged upon the mere report of this information, or do you think more is going on?

Mind you, they said if I get a Green Card, they will take me, but INS won't just give me a Green Card, and I'm not going to spend time trying to get one through employer sponsorship (which only can happen if I apply for a job lacking qualified Americans --- unlikely) when Alberta has the fastest growing economy of any state or province.

The Wicked

Here in the eternal swirl of the abyss,

darkness takes me. My spirit screams out

to God but alas, He will not hear me. There

is not help from above.

and I think of my father. He always taught

right from wrong, the left hand path from the

right. I hear many voices when I call for

my father. They tell me he cannot help you.

They mock me. I am pulled in many directions

and feel the gnashing of teeth. I lift my

eyes in hell for hope I know is not here.

and I think of my father. I know he will

never be in this place with me, the wicked.

The US State Dept.'s “countermisinformation” office headed by Todd Leventhal is the subject of a nationally syndicated article originally published in the Hartford Courant, and reprinted in major papers, including the San Francisco Chronicle. Leventhal, and the Bush administration’s “truth ministry” (the US State Department "Identifying Misinformation" Web Site) was previously exposed by Wayne Madsen as a shameless attack and cover-up apparatus. Madsen himself is the target of many of Leventhal’s attacks. Since Madsen’s 1995 expose, Leventhal’s ministry has obviously remained busy. Among Leventhal's current targets, all of which he concludes (as an official asset of the US government) are myths: 9/11 "conspiracy theories" US plans to invade Venezuela. US creation of Osama bin Laden. Historians, investigators, journalists, researchers and academics know full well that a great number of Leventhal’s targeted items, notably the above, are not myths, "urban legends" or "conspiracy theories," but fact, proven by official US government documents and credible mainstream news reports. The site identifies what issues this administration considers threatening enough to "debunk"--- i.e. cover up, deny, and discredit. It identifies groups and individuals that the government wishes to undermine. It is also no surprise that Leventhal’s office has resorted to a familiar trick: lump genuine facts and real history into one cesspool along with bad, genuinely "crackpot" material, so that the important facts and real history are flushed down the pipe. Anything deemed to be damaging to the image of the US government is fair game. This includes documented facts. The site goes out of its way, for instance, to label John Perkins' book, Confessions of an Economic Hitman, a work of fiction. The book details how Perkins sabotaged the economies of various nations while in the employ of the National Security Agency (NSA). Perkins responded to the State Department’s web site: "Their mission statement is a lie. So when they use their mission statement to say my book is a lie, I think it speaks for itself". The very existence of this “truth ministry” speaks volumes about what this country has become, and how low this administration has stooped. Again, see the original expose by Wayne Madsen. The government has devoted an enormous apparatus (which includes the State Department, the CIA, a corporate media, a corrupted educational system, and more) to control what you think, openly manipulate reality, and cover up its malfeasance.

The USA is back to interfering in the campaign of Daniel Ortega in Nicuragua. Can't the USA leave them alone and let them have their free elections?

I remember the last time the USA interfered when Daniel Ortega was freely elected President. It sent the Nicuraguans back 20 years because the USA couldn't leave them alone.
