Gas shortages- Failed to rescue our people held hostage in Iran--Failed to TRY again--Gave up the Panama Canal---
BTW, I joined the U.S. Army when it became pretty clear to me that Ronald Reagan was going to win. I wanted to be a part of 'WHATEVER NEEDED TO BE DONE' to get our people back. They let them go about a day or so before Reagan officially took office. And I was sent to Panama. I witnessed, firsthand, what giving up the canal meant. Noriega took control about a month or so after I arrived. The country went into a tail-spin with him. His troops killed and beat anyone who disagreed with his 'policies'. They also killed and imprisoned many teachers and news reporters, as is the norm with any dictator. Jimmy Carter was a nice man, but knew nothing about world affairs.

President Carter lives and puts into practice his belief in God. Maybe this is what really bothers people, they mouth the words, but do they actually do the deed. Right now President Carter comes across as a failed President, but you never know what the future will say. Someone who really believes and practices his faith cannot be an effective President. A President sometimes may do many dirty, underhanded lying acts, many of which are illegal. A lot of Presidents relish this, President Carter did not, because this was not part of his nature and Christian values.

I like the question. I always considered him the worst president but now we have Bush II he comes in 2nd. Carter is much too idealistic to be a serious politician. I could not believe it when he won the presidency. I lost my faith in the American people. Today I have lost my faith in the American people. Cater had no idea how to run a government and world leaders never took him seriously. One thing for sure is that Khomeini considered him the epitome of evil. Carter never learned to handle a crisis at home or abroad.

LOL! Hey dude! The only thing 'coming up' when you mention Jimmy Carter is my lunch! By far the worst failure in the presidential history. His party didn't even want him--he only had 4% support from the Dems--he got in like Soros is trying to get Godzillary in--the Trilateral Commission bought him in and he almost destroyed America--

He screwed up everything he touched. He put his Academy chum in charge of the CIA and that idiot Turner fired all the human assets and got our embassy in Iran overrun and our people taken hostage. then he stripped the military to the bare bones so they couldn't mount a rescue mission. We waffled and he wavered and nothing was good until reagan kicked carter out of Office. Amerca was sick of him, his mother and his redneck brother. Now he's supposed to be some great statemen. he's been a failure in North korea and he should stick to building houses for Habitat. At least most of us wouldn't have to live in one.
