Pot calling the kettle Black? Literally!

pay attention seetie! All cultures speak their mind just different lingo. Blacks use the word "uncle tom" and that's because most of the time it's true. The White equivalent of "uncle tom" is "anti-american" "terrorist" "traitor" or anything else fed to the masses per the lingo of the right wing nuts.

Because it is the old white supremency thought, do what I tell you to do because I know what is best for you.

I'm not sure I agree with your statement. I haven't in recent years seen any conservative whites call liberal whites an "uncle tom" or a traitor to the white race.

Last time I've seen or heard any statement like that would have been from the 50s or 60s in some backwoods part of the U.S. on some film depicting racism where a stupid white ignorant person would call a white civil rights activist a N---------r lover.

First - verify your background - the Democrats extremely have been racist, they have been the pro-slavery party (Lincoln grew to become into the 1st Republican president). The Republicans ran the south after the conflict in the time of reconstruction, then have been ousted via fact the Democrats regained power. those "dixiecrats" as you call them to dissociate them from "actual" Democrats helped get many democratic icons elected, which contains FDR, JFK and LBJ. Then - verify your good judgment - if Whites do no longer settle for White liberals, than are white liberals no longer accepting of themselves? sounds such as you prefer to chop up alongside racial lines whilst handy, and political whilst it suits you. some white top wingers call white liberals sellouts and traitors, some black liberals call black conservatives Uncle Toms. What i ask your self is why does each individual, liberal or in any different case, anticipate the black community to act and think of monolithically? A black millionaire has greater in undemanding with a white millionaire in terms of taxes, policing and maximum social matters than he has in undemanding with a black guy living interior the projects. the subject is that the white guy living interior the trailer park would not see that he has greater in undemanding with the black guy interior the projects, so as that they do no longer artwork jointly to get their lot more suitable.

I'm white and a white liberal. So are many of my friends. And many of my acquaintances. As far as I know, we're pretty much accepted by most people we run across, regardless whether they're black or white. People don't always get my point of view (and I don't always get theirs), but they usually tend to show a modicum of respect for the view expressed. Regardless of other people's points of view, I try to show them respect as well. At the end of the day, I think that's what we're all looking for. Respect.

Really, it seems that the question above is saying that (1) conservative whites accept white conservatives (vs. liberals) and thus, not expectedly, (2) conservative whites expect blacks to accept black conservatives. The terms, as expressed above, don't seem at all contradictory to me.

To many people I know, "black conservative" still seems like an oxymoron (not unlike "female Republican"), though the times are indeed changing. Perhaps some blacks think black conservatives are selling out, whereas some whites think white liberals are crazy commies. In short, black conservatives have a right to believe what they believe, as do black liberals, white conservatives, and white liberals. Regardless, I think it's unfortunate if some people expect other people to feel one way or another instead of accepting (and respecting) people's feelings as legitimate and real. And, I think it's possible that overgeneralizations with an arguably shaky foundation (e.g., white people expect blacks to accept black conservatives) may themselves prove problematic.

So according to you, white liberals do not accept themselves. Thank you for clearing that up. I always wondered why they were so spineless, but it all stems from a lack of personal acceptance.

Great generalization, there. I think everyone should accept everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or politics. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and this white conservative respects everyones opinions as long as they respect mine.

Can't we add a few more colors to your rainbow. Or is black and white all you worry about? Are you racist?
