Depends on how many committees they form to look into the methodology of changing a light bulb... it could be tied up for 7-8 months until a final resolution is ready... but then they need to take bids for the light bulb changing... so that could be up to a year and over 300 people directly involved with the process.

It would go to a vote wether lightbulbs should be state funded or they should tax lightbulb sales to pay for government lightbulbs and then put someone in charge of lightbulb tax and distribution. Then some brightspark MP will go against the idea bringing the whole motion to a collapse.

So the lightbulb is wrapped in red tape and left as it would be ethically wrong to change the lightbulb if said occupant was to pay for said lightbulb with personal finances.

A few years down the line all the lightbulbs will need changing and the poloticians truly will be in the dark both litterally and figurativley

I can't imagine the bulb would EVER be changed. There'd be too much discussion about the correct wattage of the bulb, whether the bulb should be tinted, if the wattage and tint would somehow discriminate against a certain group....Bottom line: we'd all be in the dark just as we are now.

The number in the current administration. No, I doubt they could collectively change a light bulb. It would require a certain level of intelligence.

It would burn out before the legislation would pass....

How many doctors?
- depends on what kind of insurance the light bulb has

How many feminists?
- 3. One to form the committee, one for support, and one to write the song about how the socket is exploited

How many New Yorkers?
- None of your @##$# business!

How many mothers?
- None. I'd rather just sit here in the dark wondering why my children don't do it. Why don't they call?

How many alcoholics?
- Just 1. The room spins around them

and finally.....

George Bush?
- None. I just hold it up in the air. The world revolves around me

You think a politician would change a light bulb? No way! They would ask one of their junior staff members to do it for them. ;-)

Do you mean a "dim bulb"? It takes all of us voting to change the low-watt people running the show now. :)
