God help us. Please take the time to read about Pusan Perimeter – Inchon – Chosin Reservoir – Imjin River – Gloster Hill– Kapyong. Brave you sit in the cold in a summer uniform eating a handful of rice every other day attacking wave and WIN, WIN,WIN. They kicked our butts the first time and will this time. Don't you all know weapons including nukes mean nothing if you have the people? During Nam the NVA overran base after base and all the weapons in our arsenal could not stop them. In October 1950, China entered the Korea war and kicked our butts. They dared us to drop the atomic bombs on them. They knew their population was so large that for us to be able to put a dent in it would have caused so much atomic energy to have been expended the world as we knew it would have ceased to exist. Well, they have even more people now; we would have a hard time using nukes on North Korea, as due to their proximity to South Koreas we would be killing an ally. The North Koreas rolled over the South in 1950 but would have a harder time this time but would prevail. Japan has a non-aggression Constitution but I believe they would have to come to the aid of the South. If not and the North wins and eventually rolling over Japan. I don't think American could stop them this time, too much political correctness plus bog brother China. No, North Korea would not be someone anyone should wake up!
No, only kids, literates and that bunch of professional losers believe that garbage of aggression. Have you ever wondered why China is everyone friend and why everyone in a political situation listens to them and takes their advise?
People like you are what got us into Nam and Iraqi killing all these poople when talking would have gotten us further!

N. Korea gets 50% of their food from China and another 30% from S. Korea. There is no doubt that N. Korea cannot afford to to supply basic necessities for the people. The great danger from N. Korea is not the nuclear weapons. It is a total collapse of their society. There are 23 million people living in North Korea and a collapse of their society would be an international disaster. This is why China, South Korea, and Russia are against harsh sanctions. Speaking of yellow, why is Bush afraid of one on one talks with N. Korea? It is not because they have failed in the past because they did accomplish some goals. You have to admit Kim Jong Il is an idiot but he sure gets the attention of Bush and I can see why the US should be as concerned as China and South Korea has more of an interest.

Let's not write off North Korea just yet. As soon as their foreign aid is restored after this diplomatic "back down", their leader will ease back into the role of aggressor once again. Interesting the US government, often the recipient of severe public criticism from its own citizens, may have called this one right though. How dangersous are they really?

They are not "yellow". My uncles and father fought them for three years. Say whatever you want, no one has ever called their courage in question. In 'Nam when the South Koreans went through an area and there was resistance, everything died. Even the water Buffalo. Koreans tend to fight that way. Chinese pressure and the fact their government probably planned to react like this all along. Buys them time and concessions.

at least it proves that thier policy of turning off light does more good to our environment, less electricity=less pollution, may be the u.s.a since they are the biggest contributers to global warming which is the biggest threat to our planet, then north korea testing a nuke to defend it self.,should learn summit from it, or maybe they are trying to wipe out anytrace of a policy thats the most enviromental policy in the world so other countires don't follow suit,
