At your MEPS physical, did the doctor ask you to roll over, then spread your cheeks to look at your anus?

Is that how the rectal exam is done for women at MEPS? Or was it a more complete, more invasive type exam?

I'm not sure how a female examination is performed but as far as males go ,yes you'll be asked to spread your cheeks so they can look in there i suspect they may be looking for hemorrhoids,deformities or anything out of the ordinary,but unless you have anything that may cause a concern that is as far as the examination go, now if you're a male and you,re over 40 years old as part of your physical you get and extra examinations that includes an EKG,"heart" extra blood test "cholesterol" and extra eye test "pressure" and a "prostate test" prostate test require the doctor not only to look but to also insert the finger in the rectal area how ever all this procedures are performed in a profesional and respectful maner and are not different than those performed by any civilian doctor.Keep in mind that all this information i have posted is from personal expirience and from a male perspective i have no idea how a fisical is done on females.

That is how the exam was done 22 years ago. As far as women it depended on how they did the pelvic exam.

no they just check ur vagina for stds but they just glimpses it's a bit uncomfortable but it goes by in like 1 min i just went to meps in aug if u have question email me or im me

If the doc didn't do it, he wasn't doing his job. Checking for hemmerhoids is a basic necessary requirement.

He did, but the odd thing was that both of his hands were on my shoulders while he did the exam.....?
