Lets say a girl accuses a guy of date rape, and the girl happends to sleep around alot and hooks up with guys all the time (sober and drunk), and this is well known, and guys and girls can testify, or there is even evidence (video etc), is it allowed to be discussed during the trial?

No, I am not being charged for rape, a friend and i were just disucssing a story in the news, and he said a girls sexual past can't be presented during the trial

Immigrants are making the same mistakes always! going to the bigger cities, bigger countries where they know the opportunities are difficult to get because they must be distributed between more people. Can that be the reason of many persons not well adapted to ther host countries?

No sooner did Congress authorize construction of a 700-mile fence on the U.S.-Mexico border last week than lawmakers rushed to approve separate legislation that ensures it will never be built, at least not as advertised, according to Republican lawmakers and immigration experts.GOP leaders have singled out the fence as one of the primary accomplishments of the recently completed session. Many lawmakers plan to highlight their $1.2 billion down payment on its construction as they campaign in the weeks before the midterm elections.But shortly before recessing late Friday, the House and Senate gave the Bush administration leeway to distribute the money to a combination of projects -- not just the physical barrier along the southern border. The funds may also be spent on roads, technology and "tactical infrastructure" to support the Department of Homeland Security's preferred option of a "virtual fence."

What's more, in a late-night concession to win over wavering Republicans, GOP congressional leaders pledged in writing that Native American tribes, members of Congress, governors and local leaders would get a say in "the exact placement" of any structure, and that Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff would have the flexibility to use alternatives "when fencing is ineffective or impractical."

The loopholes leave the Bush administration with authority to decide where, when and how long a fence will be built, except for small stretches east of San Diego and in western Arizona. Homeland Security officials have proposed a fence half as long, lawmakers said.

Since I live in Mexico I really cant celebrate since there is nothing such as "Hispanic heritage month" in Mexico but here is one way some of my friends back in the USA are doing to show their support and to celebrate Hispanic heritage months. (ooooh how I wish I was there to celebrate with them all".........

My friends told me that they play Banda or Ranchero music load in their pick up trucks and go to a local Home depot or street corners where the illegals gather looking for jobs and pick up as many illegals Mexicans as they can pile up in their truck and drive them all straight to the locals INS office. They said that they plan on doing this for the whole month to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month" and further on as well.

What are your plans to celebrate Hispanic Heritage month"....Lots of us would love to hear of your ideas and plans.

I am American, but I really want to immigrate and live in Canada. I have my Bachelors degree from an American University, but am applying to do my masters and possibly PhD at a Canadian University.
