Immigrants are making the same mistakes always! going to the bigger cities, bigger countries where they know the opportunities are difficult to get because they must be distributed between more people. Can that be the reason of many persons not well adapted to ther host countries?
Is racism the problem or clasism? is the people against ethnic groups or their low levels of success?

I see that th eproblem is more about information. The laws should push to give immigration information so the people willing to go to some country would be sure that the opportunities they have are not what they think.
It is not needed to build walls or avoid people to be in different countries, it is just needed to teach and inform about the reality.

You are close. The problem is importing poverty, since poor people, even if they pay all taxes don't pay the cost of their services like education and health care, and drain our schools and hospitals that amount. Our schools are failing in areas where illegals concentrate, and hospitals are closing. Their better life is at our expense. That is why all countries 'slant' immigration policies to let in immigrants that will not be a burden on the existing tax payers.

Usually immigrants go where they have family and/or where migrants from their country and region have already settled.

That's how North America was settled originally.

Do you seriously think that immigrants (who usually have little to no education) have all of that in mind when they are fleeing their situation?
