I like Anderson Cooper and Brit Hume. You'd think these two would be incompatable and in a way they are. Still, I think they give the news. They hand pick which news to give, so you have to watch them both. I'm so confused I don't know what unbiased means anymore.

Unbiased news is a pipe dream. Because the news can't give you every story at once, it has to pick and choose which are more important and relevant, and since, like any other program, it's supported by commercial sponsorship, the stories they choose to report will never reflect negatively on the sponsors. It's not that we're running out of unbiased reporters, It's that you're learning and discovering there were never any in the first place.

What do you mean "left"? There never have been unbiased news anchors, or reporters for that matter - going all the way back to the beginning of newspapers. In general, I don't trust any information I get from one source. I try to get information from a variety of sources (and, not just two different outlets that are reporting from the same source).

As a journalist, I would like to make two points. First, Retro-minded people always think Metro-minded people are liberally biased. That isn't necessarily true; small town people just confuse metro and liberal. Sometimes they overlap, but the overlap isn't innate.
Secondly, we all have a bias concerning truth and that which is false. It is our job to report news events and Then to offer annalysis. We all have different sets of criteria about what is good for the public and what the public needs, however there is much in common. Responsible journalists try to stick to the common ground and offer annalysis accordingly. Some may have a political or social adjenda that deviates from the common ground and those are probably the people you're inquiring about. Or, is the "bias" you speak of mere perception? Is it content or tone that concerns you? Is it choice of language or pictures? There is always some measure of color to how news is reported: the real question is how far it deviates from neutrality as defined as "comon ground?"

I tend to think it's the listener who is biased more so than the anchor. They hear what they want to hear and embrace or dismiss an anchor based on how many stories they do that support the listeners world view.

I do not trust any american media outlet. I find they often have their own agenda, or simply ignore certain stories. I look things up on the internet and generally have to read the same thing from about ten or more different sources before I believe it. Not just liberal propaganda sites either.I just dont trust this media at all. They are lying whores for the government.

i do no longer think of everybody believes any information reporter, broadcaster is independent. the genuine question is not any remember if a reporter is honest. In that regard, Walter Cronkite replace into honest. Why is it that human beings like Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity are seen patriots for their unabashed help of the Tea social gathering and extremely-conservative communities, and yet Walter Cronkite is now being posthumously chastised for his help for the anti-war pass in the 60s. because it seems, Walter Cronkite replace into suited. The Vietnam war replace into incorrect for united statesa. and immoral.
