Ok, there are few out there that I respect. But the vast majority simply blame Bush or "greedy corporations". Simplistic at best, uninformed, lazy and herd mentality at worst. Where are you logical arguments? Where is you fiscal knowledge?

I understand the importance of the HIPAA laws. But - I work in a defense lawfirm as a paralegal - and medical facilities will not give up records - EVEN IF SUBPOENAED - without a HIPAA-compliant authorization. It seems to me that HIPAA laws would not apply when a person brings about a legal action where their own personal injuries are the focal point of that legal action! Is this a misinterpretation of HIPAA laws by the medical facilities - or does HIPAA make medical record document gathering so stringent that it really makes it almost impossible for defense firms to gather records & do their jobs? I think if someone is suing for personal injury - they really have waived their right to privacy when it comes to those medical records. Does the HIPAA law directly address this situation?

We will spend billions to help the people of Iraq have a better country and better future but are opposed to letting Mexicans come here for a better country and a better future, I don't understand it..........

You can say " illegals broke the law " well Iraqis aren't exactly saints or friends of the USA either, and the reason we went there was because they broke international law so why help Iraqis when they break the law but not mexicans?

Yahoo! Some questions need a heck of a lot more characters than 110. There's no way I could've begun to include Civil Liberatarians an Environmentalists (as those words are too long) in there.

Who else am I missing?

Pakistan was let off debts of millions $s by the USA soon after the 9/11. This was assumed to be for co-operation with the USA in looking for the terrorists involved.
Now MUSHARRAF acuses the USA of threats to bomb it.
The Pakistan intelligence service was mentioned at the trial of the latest batch of terrorists in London.
The world is aware that terrorist camps in Pakistan are busy training hundreds to cause havoc around the world.
Kashmir, India, UK and USA have already been victims.
What will it take for the world to unite to clear this evil?

My father was a vietnam veteran. We never really discussed the time he served. He passed away in 1998 and I only have one picture of him in Vietnam and its a snapshop. I have his discharge paper so I know exactly where he was. I just want to see if anyone else has pictures of him

Can my wife take our son to mexico without my permission? She threatens me with this if we were to split up. Instead of going to court for custody she says she will just move back to mexico and if i want to see my son I can fly there to visit. I want to go the legal route with this but not sure what to do if she decides to just take off. Things are really rocky bad between us right now and its headed for a divorce. How can I protect my son from being taken out of this country. He and I are legal citizens here she is not (yeah, I know i should have been more careful). Anyways my son is the most important thing here. Any advice would be helpfull.

I read a newspaper article that was about a lawsuit. two daughter receved 2 billion dollars each from his living father as a heritage. But, the daughters filed the lawsuit for few billion dollars more against their father who is the owner of hotels.( I forgot the hotel name.anyway he is the one of the 100 people who are the richest people in the U.S.A) My question is that "Is it highly possible for the two daughters to win the case and take/rob more money from their father? If yes, can all children file this kinda lawsuit against their
father? even stepfathers or fathers who they have never lived with?
