MISSION ACCOMPLISHED = two elections stolen, more US troops killed in combat in Iraq, BUSH 'not' being held accountable for the whole war-mess, rewriting of the rules of the Geneva Convention, minimal funding to stem-cell research, unwarranted attention to the issue of gay-marriage in the US, 9/10 of a gallon of gas costing over $1.00....so...yeah...MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

You need to understand what the mission was. The Mission was to topple Saddam's regime. We did that. Mission accomplished. As you know there are many many missions that make up a war. Some other examples of missions accomplished was installing an interim government
Iraqi choosing their own candidates and not just having one election, they have had two
They have written their own constitutions.
Although they are having problems, they have come a very long way in a very short time. It took years and years for even the US to settle down after the Revolutionary war. How can we expect any less from these people.

Well, the mission accomplished was becuase we conquered saddams forces and liberated Iraq. the only reason it seems worse is because the media only portrays the negative aspects. They dont show all the schools that have been built, the iraqi people long to govern themselves and terrorists from other countries are attacking iraqi civilians. If we had retreated from WWII with this many losses, we would have surrendered during Pearl Harbor.

The mission WAS accomplished. Sadaam and his murdering thug sons are no longer in control of Iraq. As for MIDDLEFIN....Bush didn't steal the election, geez, will you get off that soapbox. EVERY individual recount, including ones conducted by the LEFT biased media concluded Bush was the winner in Forida in '00. In '04, he beat Kerry by almost 4 MILLION, that's 4 MILLION votes nationwide, the most votes of ANY president in US history. Get your facts straight.

America is wondering the same thing.
And were not buying the "we conquered saddams forces" nonsense.......especially when there was no conventional war and saddams forces had long ago decided to melt into the landscape and fight an insurgency guerilla war.
Like they are doing.
