Can Iraq and Afghanistan please stop fighting and killing each other and unite to build better countries and a better world for all concerned. The sooner they do this the better. We in the UK and Allied forces can pull out and leave them in peace and prosperety.

Many on here seem to want to make sweeping generalizations about Liberals or Conservatives. I am certain that many of these individuals would claim that they are open minded and that others (on the other side of the isle from them) are close minded and, I dare say, Evil. They attack and belittle their beliefs and quite often resort to personal insults.

It just seems quite a bit like bigotry and Stereotyping.

If an African American ran for president, it would be safe to assume that he/she would earn most of the black votes. Or whites voting just for whites, or latinos for latinos. Is this racism?

I reposted a response from another member ...from a question that we both answered... I was so struck by his response that I re-posted it.
Now I am typically very Liberal in my thinking but am a quasi conservative in regards to government spending, smaller federal bureaucracy, "No Gun control" etc.. I am a moderate basically ..which really is a sensible mixture, but aside form the left and right name calling that we all seem to love so much on here.. Both my radical friends from the left and my Fascist enemies from the extreme right ..misread, didn't read, or read and decided to just go off anyway about this post which begs another question..

Does anyone really care on here is this just a big ego match ?

Why would you claim to be informed if you listen to such things as Fox News for conservatives, or Air America for liberals, or view internet articles that do nothing but take Democrats/Republicans' words out of contex to make them look stupid? What you need to do if you are unsure of what you see is biased, you need to check many sources on the same topic and form your own opinion.
Why do people let themselves continue to be manipulated by conservative or liberal media, over and over? Do you think people don't realize that they are seeing biased media, or they just don't care?

In Florida, the unsupervised kids of neo-cons are riding by on bicycles, attacking and killing homeless men. They use baseball bats, and other sorts of weoponry. On one occasion, they even used gasoline to pour over a homeless victim and set him on fire.

What sort of thrill can these bratty neo-con kids get from this evil way of acting?

Why are they allowed, by their parents, to do this sort of thing?

You can't say that their parents don't allow this because there is no excuse for allowing bratty kids to roam the streets unsupervised.

Maj. Gen. James Thurman states that Baghdad is currently the priority battlefront in Iraq where the U.S. has invested 15,000 troops there.
That moths ago he has asked the Iraqi govenment to match US troop levels in Baghdad with just a fraction of the 128,000 Iraqi Army troops that the U.S. has trained and equipped and so far these Iraqi leaders have refused to increase the 9,000 Iraqi soldiers due to the risk there.

Pres. George W.(imp) Bush continually violates the Constitution and our rights and freedoms granted by it. Why hasn't he been impeached? Are the Republicans in Congress that scared of Dick Cheney?

I heard this question today equating it to the idea that an unborn child is part of a woman's body and therefore it is her "right" to remove "it". I have other reasons for abhorring abortion, which I would gladly articulate, but this is the first time I had come across this argument. I find it quite intriguing.
