You could hypothetically be tracked anywhere, but then most Countries are rather large with many places to kind of disappear. Say you disappear near a border and then get kind of lost in the process and cross back to country you came from. That way you would be legally in the Country because the passport is already stamped, but the border crossing would show that you traveled to a new Country which in you are no longer to be found. So the authorities would be looking for you in the wrong Country.
Now if you try this idea and it does not work, then ask to use a computer and then ask Yahoo Answers what you should do now!
Good Luck!

You bet! Interpol would be contacted, and they do check every port of entry ... you're out of luck if you're an American, since you'd have to show your passport and get it stamped, and in some instances you'd need a visa as well .... if you're a European citizen of course you could get away with not showing your passport going from one EU country to another, but as an American you still have to ... so, sorry, you'd be found ...

Yes and no. Anyplace you use it, such as a bank to exchange currency or withdraw money... A store requiring ID when you charge something... your hotel... and of course border crossings and transportation via flight or rail (sometimes).
If you want to be found quickly... charge things and use it as your ID as often as possible. It is not perfect but it works fairly well. That is how they found me in Amsterdam when my brother back in the US was killed 3 years ago

Most likely no furhter than your port of entry.......when they scan it when you enter said country....after that, its a grey area. Might get as far as Security and Exchanges if/when you convert your money.

They could only track you by the last scan on it.
