The best news sources that you can find are ones that do NOT have any of the following criteria:

1. Advertising of any kind; this immediately prejudices the content to please the advertisers and pander to their potential buyers.

2. Support or sponsorship from any political parties, think tanks or associations

3. Research the editorial board to insure that they are not party to any publications from the first two bullet points

This effectively eliminates about 97% of the "news" outlets in the US. Therefore news outlets such as News Max, NY Times, PBS, FOX are immediately disqualified as reliable outlets. If you want to know the truth you going to have to dig for it because those in power want to keep you ignorant that why we have the NY Times and News max

PS. You can get some good information about the US from some foreign mainstream outlets however just as in the US I wouldn't rely on British media to report accurately about events in Britain
