What the extreme right is doing makes me feel that its better being liberal. The moderately liberal people are the true followers of God.

State Terrorism:

Operation Northwoods, or Northwoods, was a 1962 plan to generate U.S. public support for military action against the Cuban government of Fidel Castro as part of the U.S. government's Operation Mongoose anti-Castro initiative. The plan, which was not implemented, called for various false flag actions, including simulated or real state sponsored terrorism (such as hijacked planes) on U.S. and Cuban soil. The plan was proposed by senior U.S. Department of Defense leaders, including the highest ranking member of the U.S. military, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lyman Louis Lemnitzer.

Why can't you people understand, that the government is very capable of committing such acts of terrorism against its own people.

Neocons.... does the past haunt your attempt to hijack the minds of the present?

Well I have good news for you my Neocon friends... Not whilst we're around! =)

Time after time we are scrutinized for the stuff we do. We are hated by so many countries and its always about the US does this and the US does that. Yes I know people, we are not perfect, but name a country that is. But the countries and even the liberals in our own country think we are the evil ones, when really its the enemies we fight. Do we not get that? Do you not get that we help so many more than we hurt or are you just insistant that you find only the negative in everything we do? Most of the countries that despise us are way worse than us in other instances, yet its always about what we do wrong. I can't stand it, is the world really this dumb?

The teacher called me at work to say my daughter was upset b/c she recieved a bad mark for playing in the bathroom. Later that evening my parents had picked her up and she kept crying saying it wasnt her fault so when I picked her up after work they told me she had been like this all afternoon, so I asked her why she was playing in the bathroom and she started crying, eventually she said "she kissed Me", I asked who and she started crying heavily again so finally she told me who and I asked where did she kiss you,(I HAVE CHILLS TYPING THIS)she said "where I tee-tee"
I got home, hubby took her inside while I called the teacher on my cell phone in the car, she said Oh, the aide did say she found them in the stall together not fully dressed. What, and she didnt think that was important enough to tell me earlier...........The following day the teacher and principal took her in the office and questioned her til she cried.........My daughter has had many problems including going to the br.

I've been hearing a lot of complaining that almost all Americans are passive about government and politics. While this may be true to an extent, shouldn't we look at how long we have lasted? We've been able to stay under the Constitution for over 200 years and are the longest lasting democracy ever. What do you think keeps it like this? Are Americans really passive?

I took the time to look up a few and have found it quite amusing that the bills quoted are the ones that have passed almost unanimously and are usually appropriations bills. This means we should replace every member right?

Think about it. It comes down to courage. Nobody is a true centrist but everyone claims to be. They want to sound level headed and safe. Yuppies are safe. Car seats for babies are safe. Helmets are safe. Playing the nickel slots are usually safe. Non-alcoholic beer is safe. And all of them are boring. Screw safe. Live a little. Make people think you are a nut. And do it with your vote. You might actually see some change in the U.S.

Hi, my friend is 19 and her father was paying her college tuition. He had said multiple times, with me there, (making an oral agreement) that he would cover all tuition costs as long as she kept going to school and kept her grades up. He now decides he does not want to spend that money. Can she do anything about this and take him to court or blackmail him with this information? According to California law, oral contracts are valid for four years, and proof is in previous payments made for tuition.

Please help!

I feel there should be some investigation to make sure the immigrants are not criminals, but why can a person not come here if they do not have a sibling or parent as a citizen. Many illegals either can not afford the sponsorship or do not have someone to sponsor them. If a child comits a crime then the parents are not held responsible so why does somone have to be held responsible for an immigrants actions. There should be rules but there does not need to be sponsors.
