Interesting.

House Al Qaedacrats voted in lock step in defiance of the American people to require a picture ID when voting. H.R.4844 seeks to prevent fraud in the election process by requiring photo identification for voters in federal elections. A recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll showed 81% of those surveyed favored an ID requirement for voting. In another poll conducted by Rasmussen, 77% of likely voters across the country agree that displaying a photo ID should be required to cast a vote.

A vote for Al Qaedacrats is a vote for surrender, appeasement, amnesty, voter fraud and no border security,

I think that the Delegation of Authority is actually a good program. In any other country that I lived in if you were arrested the police would check your documents and would start the deportation procedures if you entered the country illegally. And I think regardless of how one views the whole immigration situation this is just a fair game. You are caught - too bad - you are fired!
The problem is that the INS is overwhelmed and does not do their job properly. I recently had a talk with a friend who is a policeman and he said that there is nothing they can do about illegals but to release them because even if they call the immigration officers to come and pick up an illegal immigrant they would never show up. It's not worth their time to come and get just one guy. The immigration officers would only come to pick up the detainees is there are at least 30 of them. Talk about efficiency! Talk about safety of the borders! Talk about tax payers' money!

P.S. I am an immigrant myself (legal). I know everyone is looking for a better life. But what fair is fair.

P.P.S. On the other hand, I am concerned that the government might overuse this program and instead of simply deporting the illegals who were arrested would start using this authority to arrest people just on the suspicion of being here illegally, looking too foreign, etc. You know the government - sometimes they show quite a lot of imagination. Think wire tapping...

Garcia was placed under a federal immigration hold in June of this year, after he was accused of driving a vehicle head first into a Mt. Juliet couple, killing them both.

Are they just going to deport this guy, for killing 2 people ? ?? This is another example of the law gone stupid. It does look promising that they are going to try and increase deportation .

You know why they at last are doing something about this because Nashville has had a lot of high profile crimes by illegals to many people are needlessly being killed, murders, sex crimes, drinking and driving top the list. Plus Nashville is voting in Nov to make all Gov in English except where required by Federal law. I think all those marches are coming back to haunt them now.

as long as we are spending money and it takes money to do this , a national database that offers information in seconds with a DNA coding and finger printing so the changing of there names will not impair a current investigation, we deport if there caught back in the country via the data base death sentence , shipped home at the cost of the country they left

This is good news...as long as each department actually works to deport the illegals.

Again...look at the numbers in our jails and prisons...we could save a bundle on their care alone by implementing a strict deportation policy.

I will be looking forward to seeing success with this program...

Thanks for the link...I have sent it on to about 20 on my list!

You can make a phone call anywhere in the world, get your imported rice bowls next-day air, but it takes them MONTHS to throw someone out of our country when they're in it illegally to begin with. But, catch-and-release looks to become catch-and-deport, now if they can get it down toward same-day service with a smile, we'll be on our way to having a country that's better off and safer, too!

It's in the existing immigration law but the locality has to apply to be 'trained' and then they can implement it. More and more are chosing to do so. This article is a good example of the impact it can have.

Great to see ICE is going to be working with cities and counties to identify the legality (or lack thereof) of these criminals. It's time we had a database to refer to. This should help get more deported before release. Thanks for the link. This is how we stay informed.
