I know for some being woken up quickly and suddenly makes you grumpy. However, in this case I have to take that risk. You need to watch this movie now http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=-3719132275557884702&q=Aaron+Russo+-+America%3A+Freedom+To+Fascism+FULL
Can you do it? Are you brave enough to watch this movie and change your life?
PS- sometimes Yahoo blocks links so in the "additional information" section I will repost the link.

im just curious.. because there are countries whose governments have been around for hundreds more years then ours.. who have learned more..who don't pick wars over oil.... just because we throw more money away does not mean we are the greatest country.. DO YOU think someone from germany or france does not think that same thing about their own country? and do you think other countries couldn't be as wealthy.. i guess if they built their laws around corporations and cared more for their money then their citizens, they could be just as wealthy..

My husband was convicted of second degree murder of a child. His ex-girlfriend actually did it. But she testified against him. She already had a case pending on her in California for child abuse. His court appointed lawyer convinced him to sign a plea bargain for 10 to 17 years because he was facing 30 years. He was scared the jury would believe her so he signed the plea. The verdict came back not guilty, but the judge sent him to jail anyway. He got 17 years. His attorney did not advise him about how to appeal his case. By the time he found out how to put in for an appeal, too much time had passed. He has a flat sentence so he can't put in for clemensy. Somebody help me find him an attorney so I can him out of there!

When Bush says he does not understand the Geneva Convention, it means he does and knows torture is illegal and he is in violation of international law. Doesen't " clarification " mean redefining torture to make it legal? Someday he may be tried as a war criminal.

In world war 2, there were no cameras and even though we got away with a lot of thing that the media would call 'unethical' and wrong, we did it and finished the war. Are the cameras in Iraq influenceing the outcome? note: im not contdoning torture im just asking if the cameras are causing public opinoin to get into the way.

I apologize ahead of time for this question being so long. Ok, here it goes...I am a 21 year old male, full time student, part time cop, and I'm in the air force reserve. I'm majoring in information technology just to get a 4 year degree so it gives me more options and another possible career. I'm in my sophmore year. Ultimately, I want to be a full time police officer. Recently I have thought about dropping out of school and trying to get into the state's academy to be a state trooper. They pay much higher than being a local cop and you are guarenteed a job when you graduate. The only down side is you will more than likely have to move for your first duty station...maybe even across the state for up to a year or longer. Another down side is that I am in the air force reserve so I could be deployed overseas at any time and have to leave the academy. Also there is a girl that I really like and would miss very much if I were to be stationed across the state. What should I do???

They keep exposing the ways we want to defeat terrorists and then we have to give up. I support freedom of the press, but can American lives be saved if they chose not to report how we're winning the war on terrorism?

In a speech at NYU's law school, Al Gore proposed replacing the income tax with a carbon tax. That is political genius. The trouble is I'm a libertarian. As such, I'm a deeply uncommitted and apolitical. Alas, genius has risen and cannot be ignored. Personally, I always thought Al was an idiot. Now I have to change my mind. What's next? What shall I do?

according to the news, china is having a massive military buildup, and have currently demonstrated that they have stolen American military secrets and technology. on cnn today it talked how the chinese navy warships had American military technology in them, and their tanks had American military technology in them. Why are the chinese continuesly stealing our designs, and are they planning an attack on us? it appears so. should we take this as a sign of agrression, and start increasing our military just to be prepared? The chinese have become untrustworthy, dont ya think? if not. why not?
