They say the NATO forces are on the ropes in Afghanistan now. If we hadn't invaded Iraq, the Taliban wouldn't have figured out how to effectively fight us. Atta boy, George, Dick, and Condi.

You're correct. Afghanistan was /is the true war. Whether or not Iraq was "necessary", GWB shouldn't have bothered with the Iraqis until The Taliban were laid to rest, and Bin Laden was on display in an American prison. it's the same mistake Hitler made when he went after the Soviets before he finished off the British.

The real Taliban fled to Pakistan in the battle of Tora Bora. They are just sending a few Pakistani recruits to plink NATO to a monitary costly end. A dozen here, a dozen there while NATO is losing millions of dollars each day paying for the troops and supplying the troops. After a few years NATO will get tired and go home and the Taliban will cross Pakistan with a real force and take back Afganistan. The Taliban would still be able to do all this, because Pakistan is a safe haven for them.

Well I'm not for the war but i do know for a fact that no Taliban war body's of stupidity have put us on the ropes, they are cowards and hide and kill people by surprise, i would say if they are so great get up and fight face to face and let it be, for everyone.

wow sweety is in denial bigtime.

Anyhow, they never dealt with the Taliban really, just said they did. We have more police officers in Manhattan than troops sent to Afghanistan. Go figure, just one part of the failure of the real War on Terror and the misguided War on Terror that began with an unwarranted attack on innocent Iraqis.

No. The Taliban got stronger by fighting us. The greatest training is combat experience. Because we're always fighting them, the dumb get shot, and the smart adapt.

Loose lips sinks ships.

Who is they in your great analgie. I don't understand why the terrorists weren't Bush's first choice to go to war but you do realize that they are all related there, their so called countries can be drawn inside one of our provinces.

Anyone who kills children bombs families who are trying to live life in this terror are not powerful but cowards, where are they, they are all hiding as cowards do. There is no honor in that, let them show themselves and fight like real men, instead of killing hard working everyday people let them come out and face the troops sent to destroy their sick regime, and see who is powerful then, if I lived in those countries I would do everything in my power to bring them out of their hiding places, to point out the places where the evil doers are harboring even if it meant my own demise, if a few could be saved I would do it. What good is it to gain the whole world if you lose your soul. There is no reward in that, and one day everyone will see who and what they have done all the evil doers, there will be no hills do hide them.

They might be fighting, but if you take a body count they are getting their butts kicked bad...royally bad. Let's just hope the U.N. doesn't screw it up, has the U.N. done anything in the last 15 years. I guess you didnt read about the latest offensive,
U.S. British, Canadian Forces in the mountains engaging.
Back in June the count on one day was 1 U.S. ! Canadian,
35 Taliban. Compare that to WWII were we suffered 1 U.S. Casualty for every 22 Japanese. Sounds like a road to victory.

Perhaps the tactics they are using in those 2 countries will be the same they bring to the U.S. Of course you and your libs will want police action not miltary to deal with it.

Bush had to invade someone who wasn't already bombed back to the stone-age(Iraq). He let them germinate and grow again because he was hot for control of the center of the oil producing region.
